I didn’t even know they were winners of an episode of cupcake wars! It definitely shows!!!! Such great cupcakes, even the gluten free ones. Delicious and made with love and care. The bakery has a little stationery and gift store up front too.
These are the best cupcakes around. They have so many fun and creative flavors and the cake is always moist and delicious. The Toasted Almond and the Cannoli are our favorite staple flavors and the specials are divine as well. You can order in advance online to save time, but looking in the display case is half the fun!
I am not into cupcakes at all but someone recommended this place hence wanted to try. It was worth the hype. Loved the cupcakes .. they were so yumm!! Bought some macarons as well but were too sweet for my taste! Store is very cute! Have variety of cupcakes to choose from! Highly recommend this place for cupcakes.
I've been coming here for the last 3 years, and every year gets better. They never cease to amaze me. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy, and although they are not a peanut free bakery, they take every precaution and are proud to say they make her cake/cupcakes separately every year. Amazing job
Get their signature cupcake, cannoli, and try a few macarons. Good ratio of cream to cupcake, and the cupcake is the right amount of moist and tasty. I got cannoli, love monkey, italian, and strawberry cheesecake cupcakes. The cannoli and love monkey were great, the italian was pretty good, but the strawberry cheesecake didn’t taste much of strawberry, thought it still tasted good. The wild berry macaron has great jam, and the peach and lemon macarons do well in tasting like the fruit. The tiramisu macaron was okay— it didn’t really taste of tiramisu. The sugar cookies are so cute and tasty! They are excellent gifts.
We're regular Sugar customers because we can't get enough of their incredible cupcakes, so it made sense to use them for our wedding! We transported 13 dozen cupcakes to VT in the middle of August and came home with NONE. Our guests couldn't get enough and Sugar yet again lived up to their stellar reputation. Beautifully done and so delicious!
Love Sugar Bakery, it's our family bakery for all our celebrations and not smile. They did another great job with my daughters 10th birthday cake. The kids and adults loved it! Thanks
My mom has been raving about this place so I had to try it. And I’m not disappointed! And want to go back again! I’ve had over a dozen cupcakes so far lol I will forever be a customer!
I've passed this place a few times but finally got around to checking this place out on Tuesday and my oh my I'm SO glad I did. You're welcomed with a room with cake decorations and party favors as well as mugs, tote bags, and other things with jokes on them that really hit my funny bone in just the right places. My kid was having a field day seeing all the colorful toys and decorations. Going to the bakery side I was met with some many amazing concoctions and baked goods! Then there were some really cute valentine's gift boxes with sayings on them like "I U a Waffle Lot" They've also been on Cupcake wars and have had some victorious cupcakes. I can HONESTLY see why they did. Most of the times I bite into a cupcake I'm expecting this overwhelming explosion of too sweet on the frosting and the cake is just... Sweet as well and it doesn't have a good balance. Sugar however. Has legit redefined my views on how a cupcake should be. There is such a delicate balance of sweetness to the cupcakes it's not overly sugary at all! Its a nice balance of sweet with that cake savoriness to it as well. And all their cupcakes you taste it from one to the other. I really wanted to devour all 6 that day but my wife, kid and I held off . I actually want to savor and enjoy these baked goods and the presentations on them are just so good looking. I can't wait to try their cookies, rice squares and everything else at this place. Definitely a returning customer here
The owner came over to help me as I had no idea about the decorations for my daughter's birthday party. Their cakes and cup cakes are incredible. I brought cupcakes for the whole school and all but one kid could not have it. I have to make sure I preorder a gluten free, and egg free cupcake next time.
