Canada's first company to offer on-site/in-show handstamping in 2004, Suetables is an inspired Canadian-based company that designs, creates and hand stamps personalized, meaningful sterling silver jewelry. Suetables has been seen on celebrities like Gemini Nominee Lauren Lee Smith (The Listener), Coco Rocha (model), Adelaide Kane (Reign), Missy Pregrym (Rookie Blue), Abbey Lee Kershaw (model), Monika Schnarre (model), Rachel Skasten (Lost Girls), Brit Januk (alpine ski racer) and three-time Gemini award nominee Enuka Okuma who also had Sue personalize her bridesmaids’ gifts.

ABOUT SUE HENDERSON, FOUNDER & DESIGNER

For over 10 years, Sue worked in the television industry - director of public relations for the launch of brands like HGTV, Food Network, Slice (Life Network) and National Geographic Canada, before turning to jewelry design in 2004 as a more personal means of expression. Sue describes her business as something that grew from, “a need for balance combined with my love of contemporary art, fashion, literature and words.” Inspired by a hand-stamped vintage knife she saw on the coast of Maine, Sue started hand stamping vintage silver baby spoons and butter knives for gifts. Once she developed her hand-stamping skills, personalizing jewelry was a natural evolution that provided an outlet for her creativity.

Suetables was Sue's love and hobby than became her full-time job after a few years of listening to clients, honing her craft, simple designs and travelling to source suppliers in Mexico, Czech and Thailand.

Not just content to dream about faraway places, Sue ensures that travel is a vital aspect of her life and jewelry design. To be creative, Sue believes you have to go where you can relax and take in new sights and experiences. From visiting art galleries on Toronto’s Queen Street or skiing in Whistler with her two sons and blended family and exploring the cobblestone streets of Morocco, Vienna, Paris, London, Scotland or Prague to climbing to Machu Picchu, hiking in the Austrian alps and exploring Thailand, Sue is passionate about experiences that stir her imagination.
