It was 6:19 pm on a Tuesday. They had already locked the doors and said they were already closed, I said I would be quick and out before closing time 6:30pm and had let me in. I continued to browse and take photos of dining tables and cabinets to furnish our recently moved in home, another employee followed me to inform me the store has already closed 6:23pm, I was already near the exit about head out. I live at station square and will now purchase online or at a different location. I will not recommend this store to anyone as they lack patience.
I repeat... I would not recommend anyone buying furniture from this store. I purchased a dining table, and it took 1 month to deliver. When they attempted to deliver, they called the primary number, which is no longer in service, and were advised to call the secondary number. Unfortunately, they did not attempt or make an effort to call the secondary number, so it was a missed delivery. I called the store and spoke to the uneducated manager, Ron, who probably did not know what he was doing. I asked him if I could go to the store and pick up the dining table. The dining table cost around 500$ and he said I had to pay a fee of 75$ to pick, would take approximately 3–4 weeks for the furniture to arrive at the store. Or I can pay another cancellation fee of $69 to cancel the whole order. They use this third party company called GoBolt to deliver their stuff. Anyway, apparently it is an anonymous company and they don't have the address or pick-up location. Ron kept saying they don't offer pick up. Ron gave me 2 options. One option is to pay the delivery fee of $85 plus tax and reschedule the date. The second option is to cancel the order and pay $69. This is basically a money grabber and probably scamming customers' money by leveraging the delivery fee. This is leaving me no choice at all. I guess my $80,000 truck can't handle the $500 dining table. Again, to save yourself a headache or frustration, I highly recommend not buying furniture from this store and using their delivery service. Go to Ikea or Brick or any store that has reliable delivery or pick-up services. A big company like this should be able to have all sorts of options for delivery services. How can you make a customer pay 85$ to pick up services? I will never go back to this place again.
Please read this review before shopping here. I went to this location on Wednesday looking to buy a dining chair as a gift and staff #: 4146 was annoyed that we had come in last minute to get a chair even though they were still open. Anyways. we purchases the chair and she had mention to us that it was in stock at the surrey warehouse and we said "okay great we will go pick it up." and asked if they are open on Friday remembrance day and she pulls up the website and says "yes it is, it is open until 6pm." On Friday we decided to google the warehouse location to see what time it was closing and it said 3pm at this point. So we rushed into surrey only to find out it was close when the website showed it was suppose to be open till 3pm and the staff said it would be open. So I called the store and it was the same person who had sold us the chair answering, I told her the situation and she was simply said "oh there isn't anything we can do." and I mentioned that the sales person said it would be open and now it isn't, so she abruptly puts me on hold and comes back to tell me "ok yeah they're not open." and I said "okay well we drove all this way is there anything you can do like deliverer it to us?" and she responded "oh well you only spent 189 so no there would be no free delivery." Weather someone spends $1 or $1500 you're a business and should have a little structure to your customer service. At this point we just went back to the store to return it anyways. IF she had mention to us that they would've been close on remembrance day, that would have been fine so then we wouldn't wasted our time driving back and forth for 90 minutes. But it was the fact that her customer service skills were as horrible as her personality. The way she speaks to customers not only us but when we were there returning our chair she was helping another customer and sounded annoyed that she actually had to put time and effort into helping someone with a purchase. 1 you gave wrong information. 2 when I had called to ask about it, you told me the warehouse wasn't open, even though you mentioned it to us on Wednesday and it showed on the structube website. 3 You didn't do anything to help the situation or compensate but only made it worse. All these 1 star review can't be wrong can they? This was my first time purchasing here and it will for sure be my last time. Waste of time. Save your money and go to Ashley Furniture where they will actually help you and serve you proper.
Absolutely the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had. I swear to never step foot in a Structube facility ever again. I bought a simple chair that was to be picked up in the Surrey warehouse. At the time of purchase, I asked the lady when I could pick it up and she told me I would be able to come out and pick it up on Friday. I double checked the time with her and she said the warehouse was open until 6pm on Friday. When Friday comes along, I plan to pick up the chair at 3pm, but figure I try to double check hours on the Structube website for the Surrey warehouse first. Apparently it was open, but not until 6pm as I was told and instead open until 3pm only. No warehouse phone number anywhere on Google or on the website red flag! who doesn't have a proper business number?. I figured if the website says it's open and the lady at the store said it was open I would be safe heading out there for the 50 minute drive. So I dropped everything I had planned that day to rush out to Surrey before 3pm in order to arrive early enough to pick up my order. When I arrived, the facility was dead empty. Dead. Not a single car in site. After ringing the doorbell many times I called customer service as well as the Metrotown location to check what the hell was going on. Turns out they weren't open and all the lady could say was no its not open. Not even a sorry or any try to make up for the horrible customer service. Nothing at all. When asked if I can have the chair delivered as a courtesy I was told "No, not for $189 dollars". Again no apology or any attempt to make up for it. I decided to make the 50 minute drive back to Burnaby and return the chair. Workers there were not apologetic and did not try to make things better at all. A complete waste of 2 hours plus gas money, and a whole re-arrangement of my day. Our staff # on the receipt was #4146. If this is the way Structube does business, I suggest nobody ever come here again. Utterly useless and unapologetic about the worst customer service I've ever received. I am is disbelief that a company would treat their customers this way. Go to the Brick or any other furniture shop, NOT Structube. Do NOT go to Structube. They do not care about you, your time, your money, or apparently their reputation. I am 100% confident I will never ever purchase a single piece of furniture from Structube again, nor will I ever set foot in a Structube store.
Walked in and assumed no one was working. Not a soul in the store. Kept walking around until I heard chattering behind the cashier desk and saw two employees sitting on the ground talking to each other. We made eye contact and not a word was said. No hi, can I help you, nothing. One employee or maybe was a friend of the employee at one point got up and left the store walking right past us. Needless to say we left pretty soon after. I think this is our third time shopping in a Structube, first time in this store and the "not a single care to help" attitude in all the stores to put it professionally has us convinced to not give this company a penny. Edit: That's a fantastic quality response Structube; very reflective of your in store operations
Listen to the negative reviews. Be very aware that even if your items show as "in stock". It will take MONTHS for it to arrive. My order was lost 3 times and each time they gave me an excuse. It ended up taking 4 months for my items to arrive even though it showed as in stock. Customer service reps never had a solution for me.
Decent and friendly staff but don’t have many collections since it’s not that big.
Absolute disgusting customer service experience from a incompetent staff Have visited the shop on 26th Sat 2022 to get a new sectional sofa. It’s better to hire someone who is professional. Doesn’t worth talking. Don’t ever go to Burnaby branch for shopping…
DON’T USE THEIR WEBSITE. You can’t cancel your order after they scheduled the delivery, and you also need to pay extra for returns. Guess I will stick with IKEA with a much better services and mood.
From delivering damaged products and leaving us in a limbo for two months and customer service I couldn't ask for a worst experience. There is broken couch and coffee table sitting in a new appartment. Anyone? Structube moto should be: "Customers are always wrong! Infact once you pay we don't care anymore, merci beaucoup!"
