I had about 6 shirts laundered and a pair of pants. The pants were missing when I went to pick them up. They found them about an hour later and called me to pick them up. The shirts however we not pressed, no starch (they claim I have to request starch, but haven't in the past). I called to find out the policy on having them pressed since every shirt is wrinkly. They said if the tags are on them they can have them repressed, but if removed the tags they will not. Funny part is, the tags are on the bags and in order to see the shirt, you have to pull it from the bag, thus removing the tags. I let them know I will not being doing business with them again. I hope to share this to help others avoid facing the same experience.

She is amazing. We have been going to her for 15 years, she is diligent and does perfect work. For my wedding she took my mom's wedding veil to her home, oxy cleaned it and hung it to dry. She then recreated a waterfall veil out of the original - it was gorgeous and a perfect way to have my mom with me at my wedding. She remembers us when we come in even if it has been a long time. I will never trust anyone but her with my alterations, no one compares! :)

I'm surprised by the scathing reviews here. I procrastinated on getting my pants tailored until 5 days before the wedding. Storchak was the only tailor in town able to get them hemmed in time for the wedding and for only $10. I was very pleased with my experience.

Can I give this less than one star? Worst experience with a "tailor" ever.... I'd struggle to say the woman who does the alterations for this place is qualified to sew on a button. Took a pair of my boyfriends suit pants in to get a simple hem.... the simplest and most common of alterations requests, got them back with one leg 1-2 inches shorter than the other and it had a crooked hem. Took it back she wasn't in but we left them she fixed them without even having him come in for a re-measure. In fact she never measured she just pinned them up. When we went back to pick them up she had "fixed" them by making the one leg slightly shorter and the other slightly longer.... now they are both just a little too short. Not what you are looking for when you get something tailored..... when you want it you know tailor fit to you....... I asked for a refund thinking its not unreasonable to expect not to pay for extremely poor workmanship she YELLED at me, telling me there was no poor workmanship and asking "What world I come from that I expect to be refunded?" and telling me that she "made a human mistake" never once apologizing for the mistake. I don't know about anyone else when I make a mistake personally or professionally I apologize, I fix it, and if applicable to do not charge for it, or I come to an agreement regarding the cost of materials (which I will point out for a tailor is a little bit of thread). I guess it makes sense that she won't refund it I bet she makes enough of these "human mistakes" that if she refunded them she would no longer be in business, because if she could make it as a tailor she wouldn't need to be a dry cleaner too. She then aggressively attempted to kick me out of her shop, while my boyfriend was still changing back into his jeans. I'm never going back, and I won't hesitate to inform anyone I know about the extremely poor service she and her other employees (who happen to be her granddaughters) are providing.
