Cold rink with a bit of a treacherous parking lot. The ice is fast, at least. Upstairs viewing area will keep you out of the cold, and the concession stand is open fairly frequently for a small town rink.

Stony Mountain Canada Day festivities start every June 30 with beer gardens and kids entertainment at the outdoor hockey rink. Followed by pancake breakfast, parade and friendly competition on July 1.
