Nice mid-sized casino along Highway 1. The Friday prime rib and lobster tail buffet was pretty excellent though also quite busy.

Unfortunately the buffet attracts a lot of families with small children, meaning that if something is within eye level for a child, it's probably best not to eat it (I watched a little girl take a slice of cake with her hands).

Regardless, the food itself was quite excellent. The buffet includes a drink and plenty of soda, which is always a nice bonus.

As a whole, the resort is nice, if nothing special with a great view out side. The rooms are good, and the complementary breakfast was great -- the highlight of the visit. They have a pool, workout room, and even a gaming room, but I didn't try them out. Service in the restaurant was okay, but they didn't check to see if we needed refills or if anything was wrong with our order until our meal was almost finished -- about an hour.

It's a casino and a hotel with nothing else around for miles. If you like smoking this is your place as you can smoke in it. Casino is ok with mostly older machines. Never started in the hotel but I've heard mixed things. Never are there either. Good pit stop to get your gambling fix. They're building a fuel station right now but given the distance to Canmore or Calgary not sure it will be used much.

This place is terrible. Why are people allowed to smoke inside? I thought the law in Canada banned smoking inside? Was told it is because it is native casino. Sorry but it is common knowledge what third hand smoking does to others........
We stopped to eat lunch and the restaurant is non smoking but you can smell smoke throughout the facility. 
Food service was very slow. Over 45 mins to get OK food. Won't ever stop here again.

I can only give three stars max...
The buffet for dinner was just ok, some things were hit and miss. I do appreciate the fact that an alcoholic drink was included in the price though. Dessert was great. 
The rooms were also just alright. I liked the big bathroom, but I simply don't understand the stand-up shower that's beside the tub.... 
The linens in our room could have been better, there were what looked like oil stains (I hope) on the curtains and the bedding. 
Breakfast was the best part. They made the scrambled eggs with real eggs which is always a nice touch when going to a buffet and the hash browns were cooked to perfection. The only feedback I feel the need to give about the breakfast was the inconsistencies in the taste of the coffee and the temperature of the coffee and hot water for tea.
