I chose Stoney Creek Inn because of the fact that they are pet friendly and didn't have the heart to board my older dog  while attending my sister's wedding. They provided a crate, toy, treats, food and water bowls with the pooch package.  It made traveling with a dog so much easier. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, and breakfast was good with many options. My only complaint was that the spa looked dirty and I didn't feel comfortable going in. After a busy weekend It would have been nice to relax in there.  Aside from that it was perfect and I'd stay again!

Rooms are clean and nice. Love the atmosphere and all the staff is friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were nice as well. Breakfast was decent for a free continental breakfast. All in all very happy and I'll be back. If you have trouble with stairs be sure to request a room on the 1st floor since there's no elevator to get to the 2nd floor.

We really liked this place. We had a king suite room with fireplace and whirlpool in room. We brought along our 2 small dogs. The room was very comfortable for all of us. Beds were comfy, room was pretty spacious and VERY clean. All staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. 

Overall a deep woods cabin feel to the whole place. 
Definitely would come back and recommend.

Decent price. Rooms were good. Kind of musty. Bed was really firm. Breakfast was ok. The hot tub in the pool was only bathtub warm. It was pretty smelly also. For what we paid it wasn't surprising. But it was still nice .

The original Stony Creek Inn and wow is this place absolutely beautiful! Very historic place in Galena! The suits are just breathtaking with different themes and very roomy like huge! The bar is very nice and their breakfast in the morning is delicious! Front desk clerk was great we were on our mini honeymoon on the motorcycle and needed a room and it was very close to dark time! We thought the town New Diggings had hotels but didn't! She gave us their last room at a discount rate without us telling her anything she just did it! This place is astounding all away around
