We are a quaint family restaurant in the heart of Littly Italy on Preston street. Our style of food can best be described as homestyle gourmet. All of our food is hand crafted and inspired by the South African owner and our exceptional chefs

Story

Bob, originally from South Africa, has a passion for mixing ingredients to bring out unique and different flavours. He is often making the “rounds”, chatting with guests and making suggestions (and listening carefully for comments), while his son Jeff works his magic in the kitchen and on the floor...

Stoneface Dolly’s is a casual and affordable restaurant catering to a local neighbourhood clientele of all ages. We will be serving the Ottawa community for many years to come and hope you will visit us soon.

Great experience at Del Piacere. This restaurant is located in the heart of Ottawa's little Italy. The servers are very friendly and attentive. We loved the red wine suggestions. The plates are beautifully presented as you can see in my photos. We ordered four cheese gnocchi, carbonara spaghetti and pizzas Marguerite and Romana. Marvelous food. We had desert creme brule and tiramisu. These are perfect if paired with an Italian espresso coffee. It's definitely a five Stars restaurant.
I would give it 10 if I could. A little Italy in every bite We enjoyed a pizza evening, like the homemade one back in Rome. The pizza is huge , it feeds 2 easily, tasty and fresh. The Tiramisu is delicious. The quality/ quantity is very good and cost reasonable. Don’t forget to leave a generous tip for the exceptional staff with his beautiful Italian accent. A must visit if you’re in the neighbourhood, you won’t regret it. They do have a parking lot close by. Will try gelato next time but confident is delicioso

Ordered the Antipasto Di Mara, Zingara pizza, Petto Di Pollo Al Limone chicken with a beautiful lemon sauce and Tiramisu. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was exceptional! A big thank you to Kyna! She was pleasant, with a big bright smile and this added to the experience. Thank you Kyna for checking on us at appropriate times to make sure that all was going well! This eatery is lucky to have you. Keep the beautiful smile!
Food is phenomenal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, service was amazing for such a large group and the portions are massive. Will definitely be back
Delicious pizza, very simple pepperoni that was huge . We had the caprese salad and it was good. Our server, excellent. The gelato was lovely ..lemon was tart! Raspberry and strawberry trio. Delsih.

I have tried my fair share of pizza both authentic Italian and the western iteration THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD! I got a classic margherita as I often do when sampling a new spot. I was blown away. I have never tasted a more flavourful pie. The atmosphere is lovely and quaint. I've never visited Italy so I won't make any unfounded comparisons. Words fall short.. Just go get you some!
Delicious food with decent prices. Limited seating for sure due to covid and also did not turn on the AC but was still comfortable. Could use more staff as the girl there was super busy. But for sure worth it to go for the food. Their pizza is amazing and their pasta is delicious with good portion. Also, their gelato was super yummy on a hot day. Will def recommend and will go back.
It's in Little Italy. I've had better Italian Food and service. Carbonara was $25 price corrected July 5th 8/10, my daughter ordered Tagliolini Costa Smeralda $29 7/10, I had the pizze 15" Romana. Pizza was 8/10. The food was 4 stars, the service was what it was. It was not busy at all. I support small business and don't give low ratings to hurt anyone. I'm trying to help tourist to give honest opinion on places I visit. This is comparable to Olive Garden food in USA. I guess I'm used to New York Pizza and Italian Food. In Canada, tip is minimum 20% +.
