In 1975 Stitches started off with just a single retail store in the heart of downtown Toronto. We have now grown to over 75 locations nationwide, catering to young adults all over Canada. Stitches is successful because we listen to our customers and evolve to offer teens aged 14 to 18 trendy quality fashion at affordable prices. Quality is key to gaining our customers trust and we are constantly improving our product to ensure we offer styles that not only fit but last. I got a text last night and this is what it said “STITCHES: TMRW! $15 OR LESS ENTIRE WINTER COLLECTION-OUTERWEAR, BOOTS & MORE! LOWEST PRICES! NO EXCLUSIONS.” I was excited because I was eyeing a jacket for my daughter from the last time I was there. When I went to the store, there were no signs but I trusted the text that I got the night prior. When I got to the till the girl said it was full price and that particular jacket wasn’t included. I told her the text said “NO EXCLUSIONS” she said ya no sorry. This place must be under new management because a year ago they honoured what was advertised.
Clothes are on the floor because the racks are crammed in now that half the building is a gym. Pricing is the same if you were to go to an urban planet or another stitches. It's not an outlet anymore. The cashiers need to learn to stop talking and do their job. You will stand in line forever while they socialize with other employees who are not even on shift.
Came to explore the Bonnie Doone mall. Was surprised to see a stitches, as i haven't seen one in years. Upon entering I got a tickle in my throat and as I walked in further it became unbearable. The air quality in this location was terrible. I have never experienced something like this ever before. Uncontrollable coughing and with every inhale I could feel the heaviness in my chest. After walking just a few feet, I had to turn around and leave to catch my breathe.
I’m mixed with this review. I was in this store at the register next to a vile lady who was being nothing but rude, loud, crass, and just holding up the entire line. She was invading my personal space and yelling in my ear and I asked her to stop. She went on a freak out spree. ALL the amazing employees around were defending me because they saw the situation. When one woman manager? I don’t know comes up threatening to kick me out ? While her employees are like what? Why her? She was SO unprofessional and then when I tried to explain the situation she had none of it and just keep saying I’ll kick you out. I was doing nothing wrong haha. I’m like disgusted by her lack of care and empathy, rolling her eyes and smirking at me, as if I’m not going to do something about it. I work in retail too hunny I know it’s hard. You are not meant for leadership. But SHOUT OUT to every other employee who had my back and knew that manager? Was in the wrong. I returned today for an exchange and was met by the same cashier I dealt with last night. She’s a lovely sweet and kind woman. Didn’t get her name but reciept says salesperson 00999 cashier 936774
My 'go to' shop for CHEAP holiday threads. As you see it's St.Pattys Day. $3 a shirt. Which were regular price at every other store for the exact same thing! If looking for something specific or just to add to the closet without breaking the bank THIS is the place. Most items are from $3-$10 an item. Including blazers, pants and shoes. Usually you can exchange items but can't return for cash back. Plus you can't try on in store. No mirrors or change rooms. Overall it's not a big deal because the price is right! Over and above they have accessories, necklaces, earrings, make up wipes, notebooks, pjs, men's wear, kids stuff, etc... Staff usually helpful and a huge selection. The store used to be a Zellers then target and now filled with amazing deals. See for yourself!
Been shopping here for years and loved the exchange policy as there are no change rooms. Today I was told after already giving payment for 10 new items that everything is final sale. Would not recommend coming here again as all of their styles fit very differently depending on your body type and you won't be one size for each style.
I used to love this store because of the affordability. I was fine with the lack of change rooms, because I was able to exchange any items that dont fit. I am disappointed that the exchange policy has changed to final sale, and I will no longer be able to shop here.
No exchange policy whats so ever, which is garbage. Sale that was going on today was not clarified until I was at the cash register with my debit card in the machine and about to pay. I used to love this store for the outlet deals but today there was no mention that the bogo sale was from the regular full price. It would have been nice to know upon entering the store.
Spent 40 bucks worth of jeans. Hoping that they’d fit to my liking and we’ll no. Limited size choosing for men, limited clothing for men, no exchange allowed to you huh something wrong size then you spent your money for nothing. No refund OR exchanges. Oh and there are no changing rooms. So you get the wrong size there’s really nothing you can do. So yeah.
It was my first time there. Was bombed there was no fitting rooms but thankfully the things I got fit as everything is final sale It was a tad annoying the cashiers were so slow and still forgot to remove the security tag on the dresses; causing them to let off an alarm on our way out. Annoying and embarrassing.
