Story

STEVO'S STORY

Stevo's is locally owned and operated by the Delis family: Steve, Lalanne and their 5 children. We began this saga 20 years ago. The original spot was an old run-down bar, but the outside patio sparked an interest. After extensive remodeling and a very simple menu of 5 items, we opened in April 1995. It was the brainchild of Steve, a local potato farmer, who didn't enjoy frozen French fries, instead he appreciated fresh cut fries from his own harvest. Thus the famous fries emerged and it seems many others desired the same. The menu has always centered around fresh ingredients and local flare. The staff aims to please. We keep the atmosphere and menu simple. Our customers add the elegance.

I have been here many many times as a local. This place is all about the regular fries, fry sauce, burgers, and BLT. If you want amazing service, go somewhere else. This place is too busy to provide amazing service, but the people that work there have always been nice and casual yet professional. Yeah you might have to stop a waitress to ask for a refill and when you are ready to pay you just go up to the cashier and pay. The place is really very nice, very comfortable, and very clean. The food has always been top notch and despite being very busy all the time I've never had them mess up my order, take a very long time to prepare it, or give me food that was undercooked or anything other than top quality. I've never heard of them running out of potatoes (but I almost always come for lunch). Hard to believe they can run out of potatoes. The owner is a potato farmer with a potato packing facility just a few miles away. If you are the kind of person that loves fries with fry sauce, you will love this place. I only ever wasted my time on steak fries once, the regular fries are much better IMO. If you are looking for quiet fine-dining with a steak cooked exactly to your specifications with a waitress to check on you 10 times and tell you all about the menu, this is not your place. It is a very casual place where half of the diners are local farmers. Always very busy and crowded. Their burgers are meaty and greasy but delicious. Great breads for the burgers and sandwiches. Unbeatable BLT with thick pieces of bacon. They also have some unique things like lamb burger or trout or pasta, but I just can't pass up either the blt or a burger with mushrooms. Hands down my favorite place to eat.

Hands down one if the best places I've been. It has very quickly became an all time favorite! The food is top quality and so fresh! The service was amazing and quick! I live 2 hours away and would make the trip here monthly. LOVE IT HERE!

I have eaten there several times. The service is always excellent and the food is consistently good. I recently discovered their salads. They are a standout among the other offerings.

Waited to be seated almost 5 min. It was not busy.. 2 waitresses walked by us and didn't offer to seat us. Ordered the new York strip. Flavor was good. Fat was not rendered down the side. Steak fries were under cooked. Waitress was pleasant and kept our drinks full. After she took our plates we had to ask for our bill. I'm not in a hurry to go back but opposed to it completely.

I'm mad at my co-workers for not telling me about this place sooner. Excellent burgers and fries. Staff is wonderful, can't go wrong here.
