Story

Steveston Seabreeze Adventures is a whale watching company based in the historic fishing village of Steveston, BC. We offer sea lion and eco-tours as well as fishing charters. Our trained naturalists will guide you through the breathtaking Gulf Islands in search for killer whales, gray whales, humpback whales, sea lions and pacific white-sided dolphins! Our semi-enclosed vessels offer you the best of both worlds, outside back and upper viewing decks and a protected inside cabin. We only take 23 passengers per vessel so the is plenty of room to walk around with a 360 degree views. New for 2017 we have an open 12 passenger vessel. Ask about our shuttle and guaranteed sightings!

Absolutely fantastic tour, the boat ride was really fun, we had a choppy day so the ride was pretty bouncy which was loads of fun. We saw 2 types of whale - humpback and orcas which were amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip lasted 5 hours which was longer than average. It worth it to see the whales.
We booked here after the other company in the area cancelled our reservation the previous evening. The staff was helpful and we were able to see three different pods of orcas. Including a few jumpers! I would recommend them highly!
Took a chartered fishing trip from here. Really enjoyed it. The guide knew where to take us and we caught quite a few fish. All gear was provided and the trip was about 8 hours. Fishing just outside of Nanaimo and the gulf islands. We saw some Orcas in the distance and also jumped off the boat for a swim. Definitely do this again!
We didn't see any whales. My lifelong dream. But i can't blame the company by giving them less star rating. If I could rate the whales I'd give them 1 star. This company was the cheapest. Nicest and they genuinely tried to see whales but it wasn't the day for it. We got passes for a free next visit. We will see them next time
