Family owned Italian butcher and deli with hot homemade take away Italian food located at 1938 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.

Story

With take-out and delivery of veal, meatball, and sausage sandwiches, riceballs (both mushroom and meat), lasagna, and eggplant parmigiana, you may never have to cook again! All of our delicious food is made to order with care and we also offer catering for all occasions.

But it’s not all about the take-out! Steve originally learned his craft in New York and has followed his passion for fine meats for the past 35 years! Together with Piera, a native East Yorker and former St. Brigid student, we set up shop in Danforth East in October 2015. We have a full deli featuring house-made roast beef and sausages along with a wide variety of cheeses and grocery items. Struggling to figure out dinner? Pick up some Cordon Bleu or Florentine stuffed chicken breasts, or pork chops dressed with seasoned croutons, sausage meat and cranberries! Our lamb and veal comes from our family\s farm in Nobelton - so fresh options abound! Oh… and we have cannoli too.

This place simply knows how to treat their customers. Constantly with a super friendly mindset. The food is reasonably priced, regularly yummy and clean.

Great quality, incredible selection, and reasonable prices. The Miami short ribs and strip steaks are highlights. They even do fresh and fully dressed turkeys for various holidays.

Just saw this place with its windows closed up. I hope they come back once Covid is over. Excellent family owned shop with Amazing quality and even better customer service. Pray these guys are ok. Sending you lots of love guys.

Fabulous aged beef! Upon request, Steve will cut to your desired thickness. Great advice on bbq ideas and options. My go to place to buy beef in the area!!

Steve is always so helpful and accommodating. We regularly visit his store instead of a large grocery store because he can get us the right cut for the right price right away. We trust his recommendations like which roast to choose for entertaining friends and family, and are very pleased to support his local business.
