First time here and had a great time & meal. The employee walked us through their menu and was very thorough with it which was appreciated! The bowl size was very filling and I'd suggest doing half rice half salad if you don't have a big appetite. Good fish and vegetable quality, and the rice was very warm in contrast. The inside is clean and has a washroom in the back. They felt very popular by the number of takeout orders I was hearing - we were the only people there on a Tuesday at 11:30am but the employees were constantly making bowls for takeout so be mindful of maybe a wait later into the lunch rush.
The food was so fresh and the portions were generous. I loved the Poké that the staff put together. Speaking of the staff, they are so kind and patient. They took time to explain everything and made sure that we were happy with the experience. I loved the atmosphere and the food. This is a must if you love fresh ingredients and kind service.
This is the second time I've been to this location and both times the service has been awesome. The person behind the counter was friendly and happy to explain the menu to me, and able to provide suggestions upon request as well. The food is fresh and when you build your own bowl there is a large variety of toppings to choose from, most of them free. I was advised of the toppings that would cost more ahead of time so that there were no surprises when I went to pay. You pay at the counter when you get your food and seat yourself, but they ask you to just leave your empties behind and they'll clean up the table. The interior was clean, relatively small, brightly lit, with maybe 4 tables that I can remember, and nothing super remarkable, but I wouldn't dine in with a large group.
We loved Steve's Poké Bar,and especially this location for their friendly service and clean space. The selections at Steve's is boundless and plentiful. They have a few house bowls to select from and they are all wonderful. An extra perk is their double scoop Sunday promo - 2 scoops of Poké for the price of 1!! With various location throughout Metro Vancouver, give your support to a local business whenever you have a hankering for a poké bowl. You will not be disappointed - or left hungry.
My first poké bowl did not disappoint. Huge portion and lots of delicious ingredients. I'll definitely be back here, so good. I ordered Steve's traditional, then added the extras for $2.
My go-to lunch spot. I actually can’t stop eating their poke bowls! Every time they always deliver, and they’ll always give you VERY generous portions. Love the quinoa option, and the variety of vegetables as toppings. Best poke spot in my opinion.
Amazing poke! Fresh ingredients, big portions, and slick app for ordering were great! The salmon and scallops in particular were so fresh, and the sauce and base choices are all 5 . You have to agree to giving a lot of data and sign up for newsletter by email and text though. Luckily, the place itself helped make up for that and you can still unsubscribe.... The place is air conditioned, the tables are decently spaced, and the whole place was super clean. Such friendly staff too! The washroom was squeaky clean, had modern fixtures and had an accessible door and plenty of ventilation. The prices are a bit higher than expected for poke, I imagine the rent for this new building is quite high. In particular the basic pop and water options for drinks are quite expensive almost $3 for a can of pop is a pretty big markup. Sit down customers also have no option for just a normal glass of water. Overall a great clean place to have a healthy filling meal! I'd never hesitate stopping at a Steve's Poké in the future.
I always order from Steve’s via Uber Eats and have been doing so for years. The past two ordered that I have received have had foreign objects hidden in the bowl. The first order I received had a staple while the second order had a piece of plastic. If I had not caught the foreign object, both could’ve have caused harm.
They are authentic, Hawaiian poké. They marinate their poké just like the locals do it in Hawaii. .How many calories are in a Steves Poke Bowl? If you make good and healthy choices, your poke bowl should be somewhere between 500 and 700 calories. This is for poke bowls that choose rice as a base and make mindful choices on all of the other options, especially the sauces. Are poke bowls healthy? Are poke bowls healthy? Yes! Made with simple ingredients, it's full of healthy fats, protein, and fresh vegetables like cucumbers and edamame
Great tasting poke, great value and friendly service. The owner Jimmy is super friendly as is the staff that work here. The staff was accommodating of my requests. The restaurant was very clean as well. Overall if I am in the area I will definitely return. Steves poke is definitely the best poke in town. :
