The Poke Guy

Had lunch here during my Vancouver trip in late July. Really enjoyed my meal! Great tropical & refreshing taste on a hot summer day. The generous portion & plenty of toppings/sides made it a great value! And I appreciated the free, self-serve water. If you love poke, then definitely come here!

I ordered a customized bowl through Ritual and decided to dine in when I picked up my order because the place looked cozy. The ingredients where really fresh. I specifically enjoyed the edamame beans in my bowl. I chose chicken breast for my protein but I didn’t like it that much. Overall, everything was good except for the chicken. I’ll probably try the classic next time.

I love love love getting poke from here. Friendly staff, ingredients are always fresh and portion are good. My favourite dressing is carrot ginger. Such good value compare to other poke places downtown.

Awesome little spot! Enjoyed some fresh tuna poke. Would definitely revisit again. Good variety of toppings and they have choices for those who don’t like seafood such as chicken and tofu!

I ordered their chicken bowl and it was really delicious. Their store is nicely decorated and staff were friendly! Food was tasty specially the brown rice. Would definitely visit again!

The Poke Guy is probably the best place to get a great bowl of poke in Vancouver. I ordered takeout three times, and each time it was delicious. Great portions and reasonable prices too. I built my own bowl with ahi tuna, tofu, and rice with other toppings. Highly recommend this place! I can't wait to try their Hawaiian plates too!

Excellent meal. The customization options are great. It can get expensive depending on what toppings you choose, however it's worth it . The staff were very friendly too, and they have a nice seating area. The only negative is that it can get cold inside not sure if this was because door was left open.Food: 5/5

The poke guy is a very cosy, casual poke restaurant. The poke tasted very fresh, I highly recommend adding the mango as a premium add-on, since it’s very juicy and sweet unlike some other restaurants having very sour mangoes

Massive portions is right. I built my own tuna bowl and went all in with their toppings. The server was super nice, the tuna was fresh, and the bowl itself was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something to satisfy your poke craving.

It’s great poke, and I love their selection of toppings, including pineapple, Mac salad, mango, and imitation crab in addition to plenty of vegetables. The bowl really comes alive with the sauces and even the regular size is a big portion that I couldn’t easily finish.
