I have been seeing mixed reviews about this place and really wanted to try it out. We decided to go today for some lunch and upon reading the menu I was stunned at the prices. In saying this, higher pricing is justified when it comes to higher quality and portions and I don't mind paying for such. I was wanting to try the poutine but decided against it when I realized I would be paying $7.95 plus tax to add cheese curds and gravy to my fries. Upon further reading, I noticed I could have added a full hamburger for $8 so there was no way I could understand or justify paying the same amount for some cheese and gravy. This would have made this meal about $21 before taxes, which is outrageous for what you see on this plate. The fries were overcooked and old, and the coke was flat : While I understand inflation, I also recognize when customers are being taken advantage of. Unfortunately , one cannot afford to return to this location when my hourly pay is isn't even double what I would pay for cheese curds and gravy. In regards to service, the waitress was kind and swift, so my stars go to her :
To expensive my eggs Benedict $25.50 and I aske soft they brought them hard They should reduced the prices to bring more people The restaurant was empty at 6pm on Saturday
We went for breakfast. All was great but I wouldn't order your eggs scrambled.Food: 4/5

Love the place the staff are very friendly. ..we go there every weekend. ..the food is awesome. ..hard to find a good place to eat in moncton because nobody cares it's just a job...but Steve's diner is a great place to eat...love it
Food was OK, but nothing great. Sausages were dry and pretty much burnt on the outside. Went for breakfast at 9:00am on a Saturday. Server was nice enough, except it took 30 mins to get the food. Coffee wasn’t very good. A bit pricey for what you get. Pictured was $30 including taxes/tip. Not great, so probably won’t be returning.
Very nice breakfast dishes, very cool decoration and great atmosphere. Jeremy was more than helpful and kind to serve us with great and super friendly energy!
Nice place. The service was very good. Steve was in the kitchen cooking. He knows how to cook! Food was cooked perfect. I could not complain If I wanted to. Great job Steve's Diner.Food: 5/5
Always love eating here, food is amazing and service is always super fast. Staff is very friendly too. Parking: Never have any issues when I park here.
If you looking for a place with nice atmosphere and delicous food it's the place. The place have pics of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and others 50's musicians. The waitresses are very friendly. You can park your car in front or besides the restaurant.
