Stepho's

Our go to place to when visitors come to Vancouver. Large portions and you can be sure to share the calamari dinner with someone as I can guarantee one person alone would not be able to finish it on their own. You can always expect to take home left overs. The roast lamb is always my recommendation or the lamb chops - they never disappoint. They are always consistent with their portions and rich flavours. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to tourists as this is something most locals would go to for Greek food in downtown.

I haven't been to Stepho's in a long time but am always so happy after I visit. Their signature, humungous portions are still as delicious as they were during their earlier days. One main dish can easily be shared by 2 people, but if you're smart, you should order a main dish per person and simply save some for lunch or breakfast for the next day. This place is legendary and is one of my favorite Greek places in Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Fresh and flavourful Greek food! This place is super busy and popular, and served amazing Greek food! Certainly one of the best Greek places I've been, with generous portion and amazing flavors. The pricing is just right for large platters. I ordered a roast lamb and my friend ordered a souvlaki platter. The food was so tasty but the large portion meant we both couldn't finish

Been consistently coming back here for while now and pleased to see their portions haven't decreased over the years and the taste of their food has stayed consistent. Good price for the huge portions! I like how crunchy their kalamari is. Friendly and funny waiters! Parking can sometimes be difficult when it's busy though and if you come in groups, the tables feel very cramped.

Husband and I decided on a whim a couple weeks ago to try Stepho’s after nearly 5 years of not going. Stepho’s has always been known for their generous and delicious portions. So we went in with some pretty high expectations. There are Covid protocols in place - masks, plastic dividers, vaccine passport checks, etc. Super friendly service from everyone, especially from our waiter. We ordered the Calamari and Roast Lamb plate. Huge portions as expected. Calamari tasted fresh, crispy batter and soft tender inside. Salad, potato and rice was great as well. The Roast Lamb was cooked to perfection, and fell right off the bone. Everything was nicely seasoned. All in all, Stepho’s is still the same as it was 5 years ago - wonderful and a must try if you’re in the mood for Greek cuisine in the area.

Restaurant itself is fantastic. Cozy place, awesome waitresses, nice sittings, very authentic area, but the food!!! It just didn't taste awesome, looks like somebody just didn't cook them with passion. The spices don't work with the foods. This place needs better food in it. However I loved the Calamari, it was very real. Anissa, was great. She just host us like a real caring waitress.

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes walk away from home. It never gets old for us. Delicious high quality plates. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant.

It's cozy and lovely. The food is delicious. The portions are so big that one is more than enough for 2 people. The prices are reasonable as well. The place was so old and the design was so simple that it all seemed to be a time travel.

World class Greek food at the same price as a Big Mac Meal, coupled with a cozy environment and fantastic customer service! If you want a solid dining experience, Stephos will rock your world! Chicken was crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, with the perfect amount charbroiled. The salad was beautifully made with fresh feta, and veggies. The rice was fresh, rich and was cooked to perfection. All around, I give you a solid 5 stars!

Absolutely incredible! Hard to say what the best part was. They were very full and had a short wait to be seated, our food still came out very quickly though. Absolutely everything was amazing - the rice, the salad, the potatoes almost the best part of the meal and of course the beef and prawns. We started with pita and hummus - clearly freshly made, with the garlic prawns and beef souvlaki. The sangria was also amazing
