first visited in 1956 with Frank Keesling family new owners from Hollywood, Calif amazing trout on bamboo fly rods. Northern lights, lots of wildlife best summer ever spent by a 16yr. old + worked at log camp next door floating railroad ties down river to sawmill want to go back with grandkids if owners will answer phone

This is a peaceful spot with comfortable cabins. The owners are lovely and they have a fantastic restaurant looking over the river.Rooms: 4/5

The restaurant on this lodge is exceptionally good that worth special journey. The delicate vegetables soup, the steaks and home made desert all were professionally executed to perfection. The cabins are old but located on the river shore and the sound of water makes it perfect for resting. This is a must go destination for a foodie. PS. Do not forget to make reservation for the restaurant.

We just celebrated our 30th Anniversary at Stellako Lodge. Our cabin was on the river which I loved. Cabins are clean and cozy. Trudy and Erwin are the greatest hosts, and food is amazing. Top quality by Chef Erwin! Can't wait to come back next September!

This is a hidden gem in the area. Ervin and Trudy have a one of a kind offering. Great fly fishing right on the edge of their property and exclusive by reservation only dining. We have been repeat clients for over 25 years and have loved every opportunity to dine here.

Suuuuper friendly hosts and very scenic place surounded from woods, the Stellako River and a the Francois Lake, just 10km from the yellowhead highway. She, Trudy, looks after the garden and the guests comforts and he, Erwin, is an excellent chief: We had the opportunity to taste some of the awesome desserts: The cheese cake and the grandmarnier parfait were deeeeelicious. The cabin was comfortable, very clean and absolut cosy. We had a great view on the lake. When travelling between Prince Rupert and Prince George a MUST stop for accomodation or at least for the food. Food only on reservation from Wednesday to Sunday. We are looking forward to come back.
