A decadent meal for everyone's budget!

Story

We are open every day for breakfast and lunch, serving homemade breads, salad dressings, soups, etc. Special dinners announced periodically, otherwise we are not open at night for dinner. Seasonally, on Sundays we offer a breakfast buffet in addition to the menu. Stop in to see us in our beautiful, nationally registered, historic building.

If you are interested in catering, please call the restaurant at 815-947-2080 and we will make a time to meet or speak with you about your event. We also rent out the building at night for private parties.

The food was great, as always!!!! The only thing preventing 5 stars was the service. Having waited tables myself for many years, if it had been the first time getting bad service here or busy, I would've let it slide. That wasn't the case. Don't let this review prevent you from visiting. The food is fabulous and maybe the service will improve.

Excellent hand patted burger. A bit skimpy with the fries which were delicious. Regular drip coffee average but perhaps espresso based drinks are better. They have a professional grade espresso machine. Service great, especially when one young lady was waiting on 9 tables. Worth visiting again for sure.

Great food. Awesome Sunday breakfast. Two year's in a row! Still great. I recommend the flank steak and eggs. Scouts liked the scrambled eggs, hash browns , hot cakes and sausage. Got chocolate is tasty after a cold camping weekend. Bathroom is spotless just like last year. Service excellent and attentive. The 1890s tin tray ceiling is gorgeous. Great place for family and friends.

We were a party of 9 and they handled the orders quickly and efficiently. Food was great and staff was friendly. Nice and clean.

We listened to the reviews and were not disappointed. The menu had nice variety and the food was delicious. Stockton is an attractive town and Stella's is in a beautiful old building.
