Used to be great. They have fallen off in recent years. Possibly with new owners. I am on the road for work and would often stop in for lunch or a snack, it seems more and more that I will go and see almost nothing left.. 1pm is not too late for a bakery but if your not there first thing good luck finding something you want.. good stuff when you can actually get it lol
Visited Campbell River for 3 days and visited twice. Steiner's reminds me of the Bakery I grew up with Lisbon Bakery. Just great old fashion goodness. We had their sausage rolls, donuts and apple fritters in the bakery and took out their fruit bars, cream exclaims & donuts. Can't wait to visit CR again!!
Steiner’s make the most amazing cupcakes. I have had them several times instead of birthday cakes. Never a crumb left. Oops.. there is no crumbs as it is all fruit and desert.
Great value, great selection, we decided to stop here to grab a treat for the road before continuing to Port Hardy. Arguably one of the better bakeries on the island. Will definitely be back, really enjoyed the long john
We bought what was supposed to be a blueberry pie and I was surprised to see it contained no blueberries! Zero.. Their filling is made from blueberry flavouringif you can call it that thickeners and sugar.. Lots of sugar. Even for a fake pie i found it quite despisable, McDonalds pies are better if youre into fake pie...
