Wonderful place to visit with the family. Recently they stopped charging an entrance fee (only the train ride is still $5 per person) and even the movie is no charge. Plenty of engines and cars to climb upon, tons of hands-on stuff for the kids to touch and feel. So much to read and learn, will need to go back again (& maybe even a third time).

I've never been here, despite living in the area most of my life. I came to see the train created by John Oliver's "Last Week Tonight," but I think I'll definitely come back to visit again, and maybe even take a ride on the train! Also, they just announced that admission will be free from now on, so that's really cool. There's a lot of local history inside.

We only ate there, but were interested initially in the fact that the Radisson hotel was a train station. The hotel itself is very unique because of the history. Beautiful decor, quaint lobby and restaurant areas. We had a wonderful lunch special with soup, salad and sandwich for $10. Good selection of choices. Was just right.

The best part is the guided tours which are very informative. There is a 30 minute train ride available weekends after Labor day. Also call ahead to the Electric City Trolley Museum to see if the trolley car rides are running. The trolley ride includes a tunnel. It shares a parking lot with Steam Town National Park. Overall it's a interesting way to spend a day.
