I always get excellent service at the Steam Pot which is a lovely, local, family-run café in Martock. Their prices are about average. All their products are fresh and delicious. Their menus change frequently so you can always try something different. I really love their full English breakfasts and was pleasantly surprised with this little surprise they packed inside :
Excellent food a little Gem, stopped by after buying fridge in sparkworld next door. Burnt end Mac n Cheese was delicious. Sad we don't live closer. Also great milkshakes
One of my favourite local cafes! The food is 10/10, best prawn roll ever! The chips are divine too and the milkshake menu is huge so there’s something for everyone! The staff are lovely too, can’t recommend enough :
Been here a few times now and I have never been disappointed by the quality, taste and presentation of the food served. A wonderful variety of food offered on the menu and the milkshakes are divine. I would not hesitate to recommend The Steam Pot to anyone and look forward to returning soon!
Very friendly & good high quality food
The food is always delicious! And the milkshakes are to die for, their are so many options you can't decide. The cake selections is really nice too!!
After driving back from Ilminster we found this cafe open and fancied a cup of tea and cake. We went inside and ordered. As it was busy, the tables were covered in used dishes of food and cups we chose to sit outside even though it was cold out. The tea came out in a big tea pot and it was very a generous pot for two people. The cake was one of the only cakes covered up sk that is the only reason we chose it, however it was not very fresh. It was not a sponge and the icing on top was very hard. The cake was very disappointing, it is not something I would have again. The cafe however, was very very busy and seemed popular. It's a good area to have a tea shop/Cafe but the stock in the front chiller needs to be fresh. Wish the owner and her daughter luck for the future.
Lovely, friendly cafe! Spacious clean and welcoming. All tastes seem to be catered for from just a drink or snack to a decent lunch. I noticed that folk were popping in for take away snacks and beverages, they were obviously returing customers. Very child friendly. Easy parking. Highly recommended.
Very nice woman working at the till who was extremely friendly and welcoming. The coffee was delicious as well as the cakes. Had a very calm feel to the cafe and spaces to park our bicycles. Would very much recommend :
We had both amazing food and service when we recently ordered 10 of the christmas afternoon tea boxes for our alternative christmas meal. The organisation was excellent. All the food was amazing we couldn’t agree on what was best as every different choice was good. But personally the slider was exceptional. We have all agreed we must try and make this a 1/2 terms treat. So look forward to sampling other goodies.
