Bucksnort's Bar & Grill

Service was good and friendly. I ordered the 6oz strip loin. ..was amazed at the presentation and variety of sides that came with it. Mashed potatoes ( my choice) with gravy on the side, crisp carrots and cauliflower in a light herb saute. A side salad, pickled cabbage and garlic toast. The steak was topped with crisp fried onions and done to the requested medium rare. I would recommend Bucksnort's to anyone. Just not wholly sold on the name...

Huge.... HUGE portion sizes. Decent prices and good food. I don't eat meat so there wasn't a whole lot on the menu for me but I had the vegetarian burger. It had a dry texture to it, but they load it up with a bunch of veggies. I'd prefer if it had more sauces and more "traditional " burger fixings rather than the peppers. I felt the peppers really took away from the taste of the burger. Definitely recommend though. Bring a container because you'll take the side of soup or salad home.

I absolutely love Bucksnorts. I always recommend people to go there. Great food. Great service. Great prices. Great environment.

Great updates to this restaurant/pub. Very fitting for port alberni with an extensive pub style menu. The portions here are absolutely huge so go hungry or prepare for left overs. Definitely worth checking out while in Alberni.

Great portions and burgers. Fair prices too. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Port. Seems like it gets pretty popular, so reservations are probably a good idea.
