Steak Frites St-Paul

I just had an awful experience at this steak house. The meat was rotten and smelled so bad from 3 feet away. The waitress confirmed that it smelled terrible. How could the chef even allow this out of the kitchen. I was even surprised that they gave me the bill without reduction or apology. I will never return to this restaurant and I hope an Inspector reads this. I am just hoping that I have not been food poisoned as I tasted a peace of this meat. I Nerly vomited !! Sorry but that was my experience.

I went to steak frite St-Paul St-Eustache with a party of 26 adults, 3 kids and 2 baby's on Sunday the 15th September 2019. Overall we had a very bad experience. Before starting I have to explain that I reserved in July and we had a groupe menu. So 1st off, the waitress comes and tells us that we won't have the choice of how we want are steaks cooked... bosses order and not negotiable. I reserved in July now... she could of brought in a second chef for 3 hours so we could have a better service. #2. Like #1, we didn't have the choice for are meat, they told us it will be medium for everyone but they couldn't even get that right. Out of 26 adult at least 15 took the steak and 7 out of 15 got it raw/blue and raw medium. I thought I was in a steak house here..... it's called steak frite but there specialty is more the fries then the steaks I must say. #3 My uncle ordered salmon, he is very patient... everyone had there plate and 15 minutes later he comes to see me to tell me he didn't receive his salmon. So I go and see the waitress and explain... 10 min later so 25min after everyone else received there plate he gets his salmon, starts digging in to it, to discover it's raw #*$%^&*#....... #4 Remember in my intro, I mentioned there was 2 baby's... well I guess this restaurant doesn't like baby's and is not baby friendly... no changing table in women's and men's washrooms... this place is open since 2015... how the heck is there no changing table in a public place like this. The waiter told me to go and change my child in the office witch I might add, wasn't the cleanest and secure place to change my 4 month old. So in my opinion, for the price, if you like a good steak and have a baby, don't spend your money here. If you like good fries for 35/40$ this is the place for you.

Good food, decent prices. They've started putting more greens in the steak plates, that's appreciated.

Service was poor, slow, and we were left in the confined back dining area... not a pleasant meal experience.

The atmosphere of the place is wonderful and the service also adequate the changes made can vary but all in all a great place to bring friends and family for a delicious meal

Steak was so small i paid 20 bucks for a plate full of fries. Go to mcdonalds instead

All around terrible restaurant price and especially the cleanliness
