The Station Mall has been a mainstay of Sault Ste Marie for me since I was a little boy. I remember my Mom working there in 1975. I still love the place but it's difficult to see the decline in the number of stores no anchor stores atm I like the food court, but it too lacks restaurants with "punch" e.g. McDonald's..hopefully the mall will recover and return to some of it's former glory.
The lady at Roots was pleasant and made sure I exchanged a pair of Roots joggers quickly. I will definitely stop in again to purchase from Roots. Thanks again
De ent little mall. Though there really isn't anything special about it to be honest. I assume covid forced a lot of the businesses inside the mall to shut down, because there is lots of close storefronts. The food court has some decent variety of food. Lots of seating too if you want to sit and eat. Overall the mall is clean and well maintained. Though the closed storefronts do give it a sort of rundown feel.
So... tell me why this LCBO location closes so early.. when the Dollarama doesn't close until 9PM..?? Come to think of it, why is it that EVERY OTHER STORE, EXCEPT Dollarama, and technically the Station Mall itself according to the security guards lol closes at 8PM now..?? Never did b4! So whats the deal here?
Went to the stores sportchek and tootsies. The customer service was light-years better at the latter. In the food court they seemed to have cleaning the tables and keeping the dining areas in good condition. The bubble tea place was fairly busy and had great offerings. The cinema on site was very convenient, Tuesdays in the afternoons were pretty quiet the couple of times that I went in the summer time which was a little bit surprising.... in a good way. Dollarama on site had a security guard on duty, you've seen one dollarama you've seen them all.
There is a whole lot of nothing much happening at this mall but the stores they do have seem very good. I enjoyed charmed aroma and bath and body works. I also enjoyed seeing a movie and going to dollarama. The tims in this mall makes the best double double I have ever had.
Jamie at the Bell store provided top notch service to my family and me on multiple occasions. He always goes above and beyond to be helpful. Keep up the great work Jamie.
It's ok, has a few good stores - Spencer's, Sports Check, Jewelry Store. Daughter likes to shop at Ardenes, H&M, Eclipse and Boathouse
You ger what you need. Some stores need to educate their staff on inclusivity. Plz don't stare at POC like some sort of zoo monkeys. We are paying customers and you did not come put of God's mouth.
You can get almost everything you need at this mall. I remember when it had Walmart, and even back to the Zellers days. If it had a Walmart, I'd give 5 stars.
