Starbucks has always usually been so reliable in being fast and efficient. However my experience here at this Port Alberni location felt like I was in a completely different cafe. The girl who took my order was very friendly, however she didn't even take my name despite there being quite a few customers. Also, I bought just 2 breakfast sandwiches...THAT'S ALL- NO drinks. they could've simply placed them in a bag and handed it right and there...but we ended up waiting 15 minutes. In the meantime I kept noticing the staff quietly place customers orders on the counter without notifying or addressing anyone that their orders were ready. I repeatedly returned to check if mine was ready but after the third time the handful of staff were not even aware of my order. Finally I lingered and reconfirmed my order which then they simply handed it straight to my hands. Coming from Vancouver and Richmond I've seen fewer staff at Starbucks handling a lot more customers, yet they'd work way more efficiently. There were a considerable amount of staff here at this location but perhaps a few of them were in training?? There were no indications of anyone being trained though.
Wow hit the drive through at the perfect time. Usually a big line but I was the only car and the beginning of a big line. Latte was prepared well and the right temperature. Lost a star because they were out of sugar cookies as always seems to be the case.Food: 5/5
I ordered 3 Frappuccino’s. The staff were friendly and engaged but they seem to have no systems in place for making the drinks. We waited 15 minutes for our 3 drinks. The cups were lined up on the counter, and we watched as they made one and then made drinks from other orders. Then they made another, and moved onto making other drinks. By the time they had made the third, the first has already been made for 7 minutes and was partially melted. 15 minutes for 3 drinks while sets of people who ordered after us moved through was very disappointing. When I politely asked about our last drink, there was no acknowledgment to the fact that we had waited so long.
Worst Starbucks I’ve been to. I simply asked for no ice and ended up with less than half a cup of my venti drink. I paid over 6$ Go directly to head office with complaints as I believe they won’t care.
Sat here and waited 10 mins for my drink. Many people can after me and got their drink first. Worst Starbucks I’ve been. People were rude when I asked. Would not recommend this place.
Most of the workers here are really nice. The experience is usually better if you go in. Drive thru is usually always packed because duh it’s a highway.
Busy place. I didn't give 5 star because the 2 time that I went there they over filled the cups. It was spilling all around.
Starbuck located near Tesla super charger. Also has a general shopping store and restrooms. Quick stop to get your caffeine while your tesla gets its juice.
It’s a really convenient location, but the service was subpar, first can’t take the order due to “system error”, then we did the mobile order, and received the wrong size.
Not happy the workers close early I went there twice once at 650 pm, they were closed and didn't think it was that big of a deal so I went today at 645 pm and they were closed and refused service
