This place has a really cool vibe, very friendly staff and guests, and lots of interesting decor.
Cute little place, coffee was decent. Roadrunner and hot chocolate Frappuccino. Could be stronger but love the outside space to sit in!
This place is amazing! If you are looking for the best coffee in port alberni you will find it at Burdes. Under minor construction now, their outdoor patio normally offers ping pong, a dart board, and fireplace. Inside you will find two guitars and a piano, jamming is encouraged! An assortment of board games, chess, and cards can be found by the featured artist wall, which changes monthly; currently featuring stunning photography prints on canvas by Darren Chaisson. This boutique coffee shop also features it's own coffee creations based around organic espresso shots prepared from locally roasted Misty Ridge Beans. #Just say no to corporate coffee! #Enjoy Local! #Be human!
Coolest coffee shop I've been to, laid back with lots of activities.
We stopped in while passing through town. The owners/staff could not have been more welcoming and nice to talk to. We got help navigating their unique coffee menu. The ambiance within the shop made us want to stay, but we had a ferry to catch. Would definitely recommend!
Fabulous coffee, had the best caramel macciato I've ever tasted. Very welcoming family run business with good atmosphere and quirky decor.
This place had so much character- I giggled many times looking around and noticing new little pieces. The staff was SO friendly- very genuine people! Got the lemon mango tango tea and it was super good. PLUS! I accidentally left my wallet there so they're mailing it to the mainland for me- talk about excellent customer service! Thank you BURDE BEANS!
So good and the friendliest staff! We got some homemade Iced Capps delicious and the coffee is strong, hot, and fresh. If you name all the character pez dispensers lined up along the bar you get a free coffee, but even if you fail its a fun game - it's a cool place to stop just off the highway.
