Star Diner

Went here for first time last week with my boyfriend and really enjoyed our meal! Eggs Benedict was delicious and he got a Mexican omelet and loved it too! Generous amount of food given too lol! Definitely coming backFood: 5/5

Food wasn't up to par compared to other Star Diners I have visited, service was poor, they wanted to charge me 4.50 to substitute a fruit cup for toast. Portions have gotten smaller and food quality was down from what I'm used to at the other Star Diners. Waitresses weren't as clean cut or friendly as the other Star Diners I've frequented.

It just isn't the same anymore. The menu is smaller. The portions are smaller. Everything is smaller. Waitress was really friendly and a good server. Could check on coffee fill ups a little better.

The breakfast was great and the service was good. Under normal circumstances I'd say the breakfast was a bit expensive but not so bad with current prices everywhere. Will definately return.

It's good food and great atmosphere but the wait staff just seems like they are always rushed to get you out

Day: Saturday Time: 1pm I had never eaten here before but it was close to a place I needed to go in Oregon, so I figured I'd give it a try. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered just an English muffin breakfast sandwich. I requested the addition of spinach, and was delighted when the waitress Tina came back to ask if I preferred just out-of-the-bag baby spinach or if I'd like it cooked a bit. That was service point #1 -- So far as our meals, my sister got an omelet w/ toast, home fries etc and the portions were very generous. She said it was all very tasty. My breakfast sandwich was good, with thick bacon and that lovely cooked spinach. Tina kept my coffee refilled and was very friendly. Here's the best service point: I hadn't realized but an expensive personal item had fallen out of my pocket and was laying under the table. Tina discreetly pointed it out and asked if it was mine. I was so thankful, because while it was a very unique item and I'd have been able to call later and go back and get it, it would have been over 30 minute drive each way, so I was super appreciative that she called my attention to the item. Star diner serves breakfast all day. Sign on door as of this review date 1-15-22 notes they are closed on Monday. Generous portions and top notch service mean that I will for sure be back! Large portions. Large pieces of toast and yummy preserves. Prices were reasonable.Food: 5/5
