I came in to pick up an online order, no one was at the pick-up counter so I approached the lady at the nearby cashier. No other customers were around yet she didn’t even look at me, much less acknowledge me until i spoke to her. I don’t want to sound entitled, but never have I ever felt so much hostility from an employee for no reason. I told her my name for pick-up and she asked what I was here for, so I said it was for a laptop. She asked for the brand which I don’t really get why and I said okay, let me pull up my order email really quick to check and I can show you everything, and she said SHE DIDN’T CARE? I honestly felt like I was being yelled at the entire time. Thankfully, another two gentlemen ended up completing my order for me back at the pick-up counter. I didn’t get the employee’s name because my eyesight is a bit poor, but she had short hair. I hope they see this and learn some customer service.
I really miss out the Costco photo center which provided non compatible id photo service and the price. at Staples, if you need to have a digital copy and print out, you need to pay 2*$21.99. it's better to find another service provider.
I was there on Jan 23 at 7:45pm. It was 15 minutes before closing. I already had the item I wanted to get in my hands and I just needed to check the price again because it was different from the price they posted online. The cashier was just damn impatient and kept saying they were closing soon. And I don't know if she has a hearing problem or she just wanted to mess around with customers, she kept saying she couldn't hear me and I had to repeat what I said over and over. The one thing she was very efficient at was shutting the front entrance and reminding other customers they were closing. Maybe you should give her employee of the month based on that.
Terrible experience. First time visiting this location for a scan/print job. Would not return. Minimum $5 charge no matter the volume of items you need to scan. Scanning services shuts off immediately when deposited credits are used up, without giving ample time to save/import scanned documents. Manager refused to refund me/extend my scanning session for time wasted due to staff's misleading instructions. Was informed to email PDF copies to their self-service email which I did for printing. I even showed the properties of the documents on my phone and sure enough it said ".pdf" but the manager insisted that it was not in pdf format. Apparently something was wrong with their system and they had no idea how to fix it. The rate was $1.16/letter-size page for a coloured print job which is absolutely absurd. At the end of the debacle, I was charged a total of $15 for 4 single-sided, letter-size coloured pages. Absolutely ridiculous.
I had one experience that is friendly lady But today they a close in 10 min and I’m dropping off, but computer is open, everything is fine, the dropping off place employee say no I can’t the system is shut down. Good thing Friendly and free drop off Bad. Thing. I’m not sure is the system work but they are being bad when it’s closing time .
A special shootout for Kavita Thakur, from Print shop for going beyond to help complete the order on time. Where most of the employees are so rigid to help anyone beyond their time even for a minute, providing good experience to the customers was priority for Kavita. She was almost near her off time, but stayed back to help the guy at print shop to complete my order. Thank you Staples and Kavita for the great experience
The staff is the worst I have come across, not even remotely helpful. And I am not talking about helping me, they were outright rude to us but there was an old lady who needed help for some prints but the staff kept shouting from the back of the counter and embarrassed the lady to another level by saying its self service. She was really rude to her staff as well taunting them in their language hindi. It was very poor customer experience with Staples. No wonder people are refraining from coming to this branch. Its an iconic brand and needs it staff if not helpful but atleast be polite to the senior citizens who need their help and not embarrass them. Please donot let these people ruin the legacy of such an iconic brand and take some actions. I was here on March 1st 2023 at around 12pm.
Great customer service, went to ask a lady for assistance and referred me to a guy that knows the stuffs I am locating and assisted me in chosing the right item. They do not have some items i was looking for but was kind enough to check their other stores if they have them so I do not have to go to other store location. Overall experience is great aside from minor setback on items being out of stock.
1. Very helpful for print outs and scans 2. A lot of stationary items are available at an affordable price 3. They also collect FedEx, Purolator couriers for us 4. Some electronics are also available
The nice man helped me load my chair into my car and that was much appreciated. The chair itself was a huge pain to set up but I won't hold that against Staples.
