Located near the KSU campus since 1949, Stahl's is a rare gem in these “big box” times; a small independent neighborhood bakery. We make most things here, from scratch, using flour milled in Kent from locally grown grain.

Best bakery in Kent and nearby areas. Real tried and true recipes, trusted ingredients. Any visit to Kent should include a quick stop for at least one cut-out sugar cookie here. Don't pass by because of the plain exterior. Depending on when you go the owner might be willing to trade you a crayon drawing for pastry.

The lady was very funny helped me choose the right cake. Her homemade coffee is the best!

This bakery is a great little shop for your pastry needs. The flour comes from the local mill and mostly everything is made from scratch. The owner is great to chat with and is very friendly. Her hours vary, but you can typically catch her before two in the afternoon on weekdays. Take some time away from processed cookies and visit Stahl's.
