St Thomas & John Episcopal Church

This was a cruise ship stop that we thoroughly enjoyed. So very scenic and beautiful! We enjoyed a day here of shopping and exploring. Restaurants and the typical gift shops but definitely higher end. A lively clean tropical island. Everything you need is here and close by. We did take a tour of the island which was very enjoyable.

Nice beaches. Took a $9 taxi to emerald beach from the cruise ship pier Haven.. something. Quick walk to the sky ride. $28. Cheaper if you're a veteran. Typical cruise ship pier though.

A breathtaking beach… white sand, turquoise water. We did snorkelling around and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon sunbathing and swimming. A must see in St-John

Very nice, highly recommend doing the taxi tour. We only had 2 other people in our group. The guide was very informative and new good spots to stop.

Beautiful and exotic island. I personally love it. I enjoy the white sand beaches and blue water. I had great vacation. I enjoy local cuisines and met a lot of local people. Nature was wild - iguanas, lizards, birds and chickens!!! Every day was a new adventure. We enjoyed local Caribbean cuisines and try many traditional dishes. Transportation around the island is easy if you have car or just get a taxi. They are cheap and fun. Just hop in and out. Island is big so think about transportation. Walking is not going to work out. We did around the island tour with the cruise ship people and was fun. We got to see different part of the island. We also visit multiple beaches so pretty much we visit every part of the island. I personally loved the country side. Some areas are busy than others. We stay up the hills so we saw a little challenge with that so choose a place or hotel down on the flat part. The view from the top is great but going up and down is a nightmare. People drive crazy ! Downtown area is really pricey. Everything is really expensive overall. Many many restaurants. Not much night life. Little one room clubs open till 4 am. Definitely place to relax not getting wild. I want to mention that going to the island is easy but getting out of it not , you have to go true sort of immigration. So get 2 documents to show your status. Doesn't matter they are USA territory they have their own rules. Go to the airport early lines a long. Is not your ordinary airport. If you look for that luxury experience you are not going to find it here. If you looking for beaches and exploring different cultures that is your spot. Overall great experience for me !

Absolutely breathe taking views, turquoise waters, & coral beaches, Amazing locals and food! Rent a Jeep & bring an umbrella or waterproof bag; it rains in and off the islands quite often. There are so many wonderful ways to explore. Please, always tip your guides!

Paradise on earth! I went to st Thomas June 2021, it was literally the most beautiful place I’ve ever laid my eyes upon. Even in the slums, there was still beauty. Amazing people. Loved the music and the beaches were breathtaking!

Wonderful island for vacation make sure too get a rental car so you can drive around the island

We went to St Thomas for our honeymoon 10/11/21.. Let’s get the cons out of the way first.. If you have any type of fear of heights like myself be prepared because the whole island is hilly with steep roads and hairpin turns EVERYWHERE also they drive on the left so we left it to the professionals and used taxis and buses to get around. Also upon arrival you are placed in long lines by the army to ensure that you have had a negative Covid test before they let you in the airport so have your QR code ready.. Lastly “some” of the locals were not very friendly but some were.. And now for the pros.. Absolutely beautiful scenery and beaches with warm crystal clear blue waters with great snorkeling. Breathtaking views!. Also everything we ate and drank was just delicious! We took a day trip to St. John by ferry again more beautiful beaches and had a blast.. Also we got to play with the dolphins at Coral World which was a highlight of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised by all the wild chickens and iguanas roaming about.. Will definitely revisit in years to come.
