These people give you the tools and resources to get your life back on track! Don't know where I would be without them! Incredible staff. I consider them family! They actually care ! You won't find a better place for help! I will never forget what they have done for me!
My Daughter and 4 Grandkids are homeless , Grace Place in New Richmond would not help them with a place to live , when there suppose to help Families , shame on them, for the people that work there are very rude , I would not advise any body to donate are live there , I will be going higher
This place saved me from being homeless during the winter !! They have really good programs that can and will help with homelessness. I recommend anyone who is homeless or knows someone who is homeless to check this place out!!!
Matt.7 [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Good place that helps people who are willing to make the effort to get their life together... Staff is amazing!!!
Well I will have to say is when your homeless no place to go you're down on your luck when you trying to turn your life around. Have to be true to yourself. And I know when you're down on your luck your homeless you have no place to go there are certain things you do, like you start to act different and you never really the same person you were when you weren't homeless. I have experienced it I have seen it in many different people. I'm not saying you're bad person for it. What I am saying is we all do. And this Salvation Army that's part of Grace Place will change a person. I have gotten help through Grace place/ Salvation Army. But not as much as what they should have held me. Whether it was when I was staying there and when I wasn't. One thing I will never return to this facility until they learn 2 respect a person and a person's belongings and when you ask a question quite clear of your question and stick to your question and do not let them change your question and the type of help you want and that you need and you will see the same results. Because the people that work in this organization not all of them but some of them pretty much the majority of them but there is a few say they're going to help you but actually in reality they really don't. In order to picture this have to look at it in a bigger picture and make sure you either lock your personal belongings up and don't leave stuff unattended. They help me get into a place and that was way out in The Boondocks it wasn't the type of help I needed at the time I tried to explain this to them I was out in the Boondocks for a year and never once did anybody help me it did not do me any good and I explained this to them so they help me find another place and while I was in that place a short time they said one thing while another thing and different thing happen. I don't care whether you got along with these people but when they look at you and it's not so much looking at you but looking down at you and no stick their arm out and around your shoulder and guide you and then there buddy will be in the background stealing your personal belongings. And you'll have a pest control dude come in and to do some spraying to get rid of some Pasty little creatures and when asked what type of spray that used and then that's when they don't want to answer your questions the go around about until you will did you ask this person no I asked a certain person one that supposed to be my case manager it's my understanding with a case manager is that they are to help you answer questions and get it your your questions answered instead of making you go ask somebody and that even goes with any manager.
Y'all helped me so much thank you for blessing me
Undecided on the overall experience still wrapping up the housing stage of the process but I get a tummy tickle about it
They help me get a job an gave me a place to stay for free an provided all the toiletries an towels an stuff that I needed.
Very comfortable and the staff is great!
