Child trafficking organization for the government. Caseworkers lie and use retaliation tactics against parents. Each adoption is worth $6000 and an extra $2000 if child is special needs. Do not work towards reunification with parents. A for profit child trafficking/kidnapping organization. Corruption at it’s finest and the magistrate allows it because they also profit along with public defenders and law guardians.
Needs faster bussing other than that it's okay
They claim they can’t do anything about false reports. That’s a lie. Social Service Law § 42214 The department shall refer suspected cases of falsely reporting child abuse and maltreatment in violation of subdivision three of section 240.55 of the penal law to the appropriate law enforcement agency or district attorney.
The have committed many wrongs leading to a 'review.' Multiple complaints of wrongdoing.
The wait wasn't long but they don't make it easy to get any kind of help. And the wait period for the temporary assistance is ridiculous.
The individuals that worked security where exceptional. The actual case workers where not so. They seemed to be extramly judgemental. As well as unwilling to document a complaint or objection to a decision that was made by case worker. Management refused my request of 2 signed documentations of my objection. One for there records and of course one for mine. I had to write my complaint on papers they made me sign. They also are not technologically up to date. There shld be a way to electronically provide information while u are there opposed to having to leave and fax it in at a later date. All of which delays the decision process for the assistance one is applying for. FL has a more efficient way of handling cases then NY. Which just does not seem right. The last time I was living in NY and needed assistance things where handled better. And that was almost 20 years ago. They refused to expodit the food stamps based on needing documentation of case closed in FL which cld hv been provided given they had the tools and equipment for me to send or email such information. Over all when one is in a position to aquire state assistance in order to survive it is usually done so out of an emergency basis. The assistance is needed now not 2 months from now. The overall experience w this office was very blk and white. For while I waited I was encouraged for they had an abundance of resource information available to look at. The gentlemen in the lobby where friendly and courteous. The moment my name was called and I stepped through the glass door to the back everything changed. The friendly aura disappeared and I was met w a cold enemy like sensation. I entered feeling good and had a positive vibe to leave w a negative one and a feeling of dread. That I was not going to get the help that I so desperately need. As I'm sure everyone who seeks assistance is in the same desperate state.
How can a Dept allow Fraud in their Unit? Knowingly realize its not that Individual! When they are 2 Different people!!
Caseworkers are judgmental against addicts, you fax paperwork and they say they never received it, I was told I was sanctioned when I really wasn't. The caseworkers need a class about how to treat people or hire different people because the ones that work there now are definitely prejudiced against recovering addicts
I have been on hold for 1:45 minutes today trying to get a hold of heap unit. To let them know i'm in need of emergency heap. Because i have very few bags of pellets left. I would like to know what they are doing if their NOT answering there phones? I know last year i went to get heap and a worker was playing a game on the company's computer. Must be nice to get paid for playing games / facebook on company time / computer.
The workers are well trained
