Beautiful location. The playground design is by Little Tykes Commercial grade. First of its kind from all the playgrounds around the city. Tons of climbers, ladders, including steps and cylinders to get up onto the main playground, as well as a super wide slide that at least three kids can go on at the same time. One other neat thing about this playground is it has puzzles, labyrinth board and numerous board like games. There is also a small playground for the little ones which features an interactive animal noise machine. At this park there are public bathrooms although they were closed. Saint Julien Park also features paths, soccer fields and a basketball court. The playground is situated on wood chips. I would most definitely come back here again as my kids had plenty of fun. There is no parking area but you can park on the side street.
It's been where my daughter has every soccer game and it's been a very great place to go and play! Even without the fields, the playground area is pretty nice and the fact they have decent bathrooms instead of porta-potties is just to me!
Nice big park. It has a bike trail and a discgolf course
Really nice and fairly new park! You can get to it by trail or by car very easily. My toddler loved all the elements and there is a “younger child” and “older child” areas that offer different challenges and fun. Downside when I visited was that the bathrooms were closed late September. Most likely due to students being back in school.
Our parents built a home at 98 Madison in 1946. My 3 bothers and I lived there while we were growing up until about 1970, First it was gravel pits and then turned into a city dump. So happy to see that wonderful area has a park for everyone. Our parents name is on the plaque at the end of Madison. Charlie and Jean Breckon. We also donated a park bench. :
The trail around the park is chip and dust. It gets very muddy. The paved paths are cracked and there were two big sinkholes the city has patched. The basketball court is Rundown the court is paved it is all bumped up and the pavement is splitting. I don't know how you can play basketball on it the washrooms have been closed for over 2 years because the plumbing was screwed up. The play equipment was put up down hill so when it rains it floods what a genius idea.
Great scenery, we go to this park quite frequently and it's always clean and nice and the parents seem to take care of their kids. There's equipment bike paths the river there's so much things you can do including fishing on the Thames River even though you might not catch anything lol. This is one of my favorite parks in the city.
Nice park with good play ground for kids and nice walking path near the river.
Fun place for the kids. Lots of space for walking the dog or , just shooting hoops. Has bathroom facilities in the park. Parking lot and roadside parking
Nice and clean park and well maintained, including the bathrooms when they are open for usage. I'm only giving 2 stars because I firmly believe that a splash pad SHOULD have been incorporated as this neighbourhood doesn't have one, and the closest ones are either Kiwanis Park or Rown tree Park by the children's hospital.
