I'm giving the Thames Park Tennis Courts a 3 and I think it might be generous. They renovated the Pool and didn't touch the courts. I can't recall if any of the courts don't have at least one big crack in it usually w/ grass growing out of them These used to be really beautiful courts, that were busy, especially, the hot summer night, turns into a beautiful game of tennis under the lights. Some people are super friendly and you could easily end up in a game of doubles. Great parking. Easy access for anyone. At one time these were the nicest Public Courts in the City w/ lights. When Greenhills had Clay Courts downtown it was a great place to play & they never should have gotten rid of them. It's generally a cool temperature place to play, do to all the trees & the Thames River right near by. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. LAST I SAW THEY WERE GARBAGE. Playground: It's a New, big Playground for a wide range of ages Restrooms: Only open during certain hrs during the Summer. Dog-friendliness: You can take your dog. Clean up after them. I'm not sure about having to wear a leash. It all depends how smart, well trained and good your dog behaves. Picnic area: There's no picnic tables but you could go sit on a blankets if you wanted to.
I love this park, definitely a favourite. Very relaxing place, the surrounding neighbourhood is nice and peaceful, awesome park to have fun in and a pool to cool off on those hot summer days!
What a wonderful place to be. Daddy daughter stroll just before winters were knocked.
Nice green space to explore along the Thames river and a very beautiful trail to get fresh oxygen. Kid friendly.
It's so beautiful and full of greenery and beautiful trees/flowers. The walk on the bridge beside the water is magical with woodpeckers and cardinals and warblers.. Etc so many birds too
I took my daughter here to play and it was a lovely clean park with lots of interesting equipment for her to play on. There is ample parking for those driving here. There is a community garden which is also nice to look at as well.
Nice park with a swimming pool, entertainment lot for kids, tennis playground and plots for hoppy farmers, only 3 hour limit for parking.
Cycling TVP, starting at Thames Park and heading northeast. Extension to path at Ross Park is such an awesome addition!
Great kids playground, public swimming pool and tennis courts. Great park all around. Being downtown, there's times where it gets a bit dirty with garbage etc, but overall it's decently maintained.
It is fall so couldn't use the pool. Playground equipment is nice. Walking Trail does not loop around for you to walk the park with a stroller. The paved portion only runs straight through from Ridout to Wortley.
