My first visit to St Joseph's Hospital in Guelph. I inquired about my girlfriends room # . While i was waiting a lovely staff member offered to help me with the bags I was bringing her. I accepted his help thankful...they were so heavy. He carried them right to her room. I thanked him and he left.nMy friend was in therapy, I was told I could stay and to have a seat.nAfter the session was finished, the therapist informed me that it was the CEO of the hospital that just helped me with the bags.nIt is so humbling that that his position didn't matter. He saw someone that needed help and he didn't hesitate.nThank you Sir, your kindness was very much appreciated.nTo the Staff at St Joseph's, your are fortunate to have a Leader like him.
First time visiting St Joseph's, I took in some clothes to a roommate who was admitted for rehab. It was easy navigating with directions but the place itself is a maze. It's incredibly huge and hard to navigate WITHOUT directions.nnThe place otherwise is clean.nnThere's 4 elevators, but for some reason the button opens up all 4 including the ones not even on the side of the button. So a poor guy in a wheelchair couldn't even go up, I had to wait until he left the floor so I could use the button and he was all the way behind me on the other 2 elevators.
I took a very good friend to go visit her friend, these ladies have been best friends for 80+ years, easy to find, parking reasonably priced, staff very friendly and very clean ; watching these two ladies greet each other and enjoy each others company .. priceless
I would like to write a a review about Kim Robertson. This week we put my mother into the long term care with Kim’s help. She is such a knowledgeable, professional, kind, friendly, sincere person. If you are taking care of elderly especially with Alzheimer’s disease she would be your angel. There is no words to describe her help for my mother who does not speak English. She brought picture cards belong to my mothers hometown, hair accessories and even some fruit to keep my mom busy during the settling down into the long term care. We could not make this transition this soft without her help. I am paring for her. What an angel.nDear Kim, thank you so much for brightening our most difficult day.
All the PSW and the nurses at 2nd floor are doing their best to help the residents, I and my family always appreciate their help
