My favorite West Island Bakery for getting my hands on some famous bagels like Saint Viateur bagel and Fairmont Bagel. Also, their cheese, chocolate and cinnamon Danishes are great. The service is very polite.
The bagels and pastries as well as the salmon are convenient, What I don’t understand is why do the debit machines always come up with a tipping screen! I find this rather gratuitous and tends to irritate me to the point of finding another place to shop, Does the owner not pay their employees sufficiently?
Love the Karnatzel, party sandwiches, basically ethnic stuff here. Good selection of imported soda too. Always fresh, always good. WZ says support this business and eat here!
Haven't been in ages, since I moved away years ago. Was in the area and decided to stop in. Yagel Bagel is a gem in the west island. Pricing is great. Service is great. Breads, bagels, cookies - you name it, top quality. The smell when you walk in is good enough to pay for.
Every time I go in, the new owner is talking loud with customers. I was being served by one staff member who I have known for many years, and he had to come and get in on our conversation. Yenta. I want to be able to shop without listening to all this gossip. To the point where I may wait to go into the city to buy items in a quiet atmosphere.
Great assortment of food to choose from. All is fresh, I recommend this place highly.
Everytime I come to Montreal I get some knishes to take home to Edmonton. I noticed on my last visit, September 2022, the potato filling has decreased significantly. I am sick to the back teeth with "shrinkflation"! Charge a bit more, and I do mean a BIT more. Don't gouge the customers. I have no problem with businesses making a profit. I just don't want to be insulted. If this continues I do kot see myself visiting this business anytime in the future.....
Bagels are good, but people working there are extremely slow. There was a line of 9 people and half of them left after waiting for 20 mins. Management should really look into this.
Everything is so fresh. Great variety of breads. Great tasting danishes.
Good one stop shop for a variety of Montreal bagel varieties and danishes. Quick service in English and French. We always stop by before heading home to Ontario.
