St-Hubert Express

I only rate it with 1/5 because it's been closed for God knows how long and wonder if this location will ever re-open and be back on its feet again. I must say this place was such a convenience since it was you're closest St-hubert BBQ in the area, thus exempting you from driving to all the way to Cornwall or Valleyfield just to get some. I miss it and I wish the management would be successful in finding new employees b'cause I wouldn't have to travel that far just to grab one of the best chicken in the world.

It is a wide and clean big rest area which has food caffes, a mart and also a tourist center

lousy experience. I ordered 4 meals, 2 were awfully wrong. I ordered fish, I got chicken. I ordered a chicken salad, I got a wrap. Fortunately I could see it was a wrap on the receipt, they could address that. However when I arrived at my table I had to taste the breaded thing to see if it was chicken or fish. it was chicken! the lineup was so long I did not want to make a fuss so I ate my chicken. When the line up was over I went to tell the guy at the cash, he didn't even say he was sorry, and he said if I needed to have the fish I needed to pay. Seriously? Besides, you can have the same fried chicken at costco for 6.99, at st hubert it is about $16. I can also add the chicken salad I got does not look like the picture on the menu. The picture shows grilled large chicken, I got cubed, not grilled bland chicken + the 'croutons' they add are lousy if you ask me...

What's the point of being on the map if it's always closed. I could have taken another way home but chose this was to stop and eat and recharge my car. Now I just wasted time and money for an empty building.

It's busy on Canada Day, but their number of workers are not that much for a busy day like Canada Day which you have to wait for 10 minutes or more to take your order while their price is extremely high as compared to other competitors. Their meal is so so, but not too bad. By the way the one who took my order was able to talk to me in English which is good because they may welcome many people who doesn't know how to speak French.

Not a great customer experience. Very slow service the last time we stopped August 2018. Food left too long under warming lights. Staff seemed disinterested. Raised issue with head office. Promised call backs from the appropriate people. Never got a call back after following up twice. Too bad. i used to recommend St Hubert's as the better place for this style of chicken....won't be stopping anymore or frequenting the larger restaurants... Update: November 29. prior to writing this review, I was so annoyed at their lack of response through other methods, after I followed up with them twice, I told them not to bother as they were wasting my time. Then they respond here that they would follow up with me. They are still holding true to form, they have not followed up...FYI this location is not easy to access west bound. There is no signage westbound to tell you how to access it. As a customer I had to make an extra effort to know where to get off the highway, traverse a small town to what is essentially a back road to access this this site. Then reverse the process to return travelling west bound....that is how much it meant to me to stop here....no longer...taking my time and money to other places....

Absolutely love this food. $15 combo for chicken sandwich - the best youve had, and they also have quarter chicken dinners etc for $10ish. I tried the on special lobster roll combo for $20 and the roll is very small but exceptionally tasty. The sweet potato fries are to die for!!

Amazing meal at this location. The chicken was fresh and juicy. The cheese sticks were incredible. The staff were very friendly and patient.

Ordered a hot chicken sandwich, chicken was dry. Plus you can't eat inside and sent me on my way with a fork only. No knife. How are you supposed to eat a hot chicken sandwich without cutting it with a knife. Plus the place was dead, no excuse about being overwhelmed SMH

I did not go here to again my wife had to use the restroom and so while I was waiting I thought I check this out. I felt that it was like there version of KFC. I wish I got something so that I could talk about it but didn't but I can say that when I walked in it was clean and no trash on the floor. I know I say that a lot in my reviews but it's important to me to eat in a clean place. If I went back to Canada I would try this place out.
