Story

We are an active, forward thinking congregation. Local people come from Granville Ferry, Annapolis Royal, Clementsport and surrounding areas. During the summer, we see visitors from all over the world. On an average Sunday morning you will find interesting people from all walks of life in our pews.

The Rev. Elisabeth Bachem-Jennings studied for the ministry in Bonn, Tuebingen Germany, and France. She has served in the United Church of Canada since 1993, specializing in rural ministry, leadership and spiritual direction. For Elisabeth, worship is a joyful, thoughtful and spirit-filled event. She is comitted to fostering lay leadership, hospitality, inclusiveness, and a deepening awareness of God's presence both in nature and in our own daily lives.

Mission

The congregation of Annapolis-Granville Pastoral Charge acknowledges Jesus Christ as the head of our church.

As Christians, we join together in a spiritual journey in which we experience and participate in the redeeming love of God through Christ.
With the help of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, we will: Grow in Christian faith; encourage new members; witness and reach out to others in our families and communities; improve and sustain the quality of life, spiritual and otherwise, in our faith community; encourage and nurture people of all ages to develop and understand a commitment to Christian living through worship, prayer, education, sacraments and by example; work for peace and justice at home and abroad; care for others through our prayers and our outreach support.
