Story

A non-profit, charitable arts organisation that runs a year-round schedule of professional visual art exhibitions, local artists and group exhibitions and related arts programming. See our website for special events, workshops and Paint the Town.

Mission

ARCAC Mandate:
*To coordinate the arts resources in the Annapolis Region and to act as a focus for local arts talent and expertise;

*To foster an appreciation and understanding of the arts through community oriented programs and the initiation of creative opportunities;

*To give the community access to the arts professionals working in the area and elsewhere and to foster the continued development and expansion of the community's involvement in and knowledge of the arts;

*To broaden and generate revenue opportunities for the
region's practicing artists and to develop and maintain ARTsPLACE as a regional arts centre. As a gallery, ARTsPLACE is dedicated to the presentation, development, and promotion of professional, contemporary art.
