I am Roman rite. Unfortunately, our priests are impossible to find outside of their short scheduled hours that they are obliged to be in church for. However, our Eastern brethren have stepped up to pick up the slack. When I need to speak to a priest or want confession, if all else fails, these priests here at St. Basil's will never let you down. There is always at least one priest available for whatever relevant needs one may have. Not only that, but they give sound advice too, which is rare nowadays. Also, their church is beautiful, and the liturgy is rich with ancient symbols and gestures.
A top church in Edmonton for beautiful art and wonderful staff. A great support for our company.
Unfortunately, my experience with this institution was extremely disappointing. Not only was the staff and clergy rude and unprofessional, but they also demonstrated a complete lack of respect for children. I would strongly caution anyone considering attending this church to think twice and to carefully consider whether this is an institution that aligns with their values and beliefs. It is my hope that the leadership of St. Basil Ukrainian Catholic Church will take steps to address these concerning issues and create a more welcoming and respectful environment for all who wish to worship there.
This is a spectacular church. I recently attended a service to honor the people in Ukraine that have passed in the war that Russia has started against them.
Beautiful interior. On Saturday they have service in the evening. That's good for somebody busy on Sunday.
A very nice parish. The priests are very good.
Great dinner and the staff are so nice!
Very reverant mass is centered on God not parishioners. 11am mass is in English, for us non-Ukranians.
