St Albert Branch Library

My favorite local library where my kids ask to go whenever we are downtown. I am a happy mom when they browse all of the new arrivals neatly organized at the front, the kid's bundled book sets, new DVDs and much more. The staff are so nice & helpful - they even showed the kids how to access online books from their tablets.

All the staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. On many occasions I have seen them go above and beyond in assisting patrons; from finding book genre's to aiding seniors with understanding computers. Well done team. The only negative comment would be that they could stock more Hershey's almond chocolate bars! Lol.

I am very impressed with our St. Albert Public Library. The fact that I ccan request any books that they don't have and the staff will do what they can to order it in or get it for me from a different library is so wonderful and something I really appreciate. I truly love how affordable, simple and convenient SAPL makes reading. I also love the app, especially the staff lists, on order and new at the library sections.

Beautiful library, fully stocked with all you expect and more. Librarians are harmoniously helpful, friendly, inquisitive, and sharp as a tack. I bring my kids here for tutor classes and sometimes have to drag them out! Thank you St Albert for running an amazing library.

Good parking across the street. Farmers market outside during summer. Extremely friendly staff. Self checkouts if needed. Lots of seating areas. Wheelchair accessible.

The library is soo welcoming from the layout to the friendly/attentive staff : And kuddos for being dog friendly. Our wittle shih-tzu loves visiting and also gives it five paws.

Always helpful, knowledgeable staff, esp at the children's desk! The summer reading program is so fun - awesome amount of effort/time goes into it. Thanks so much for being so amazing. Update Mar 2022: consistently wonderful staff You have been such a big part of our kids' childhood, and we so appreciate the time and thought you put into making the library accessible and fun for all kids.

Fabulous library with lots of awesome local resources.

Excellent library because of the awesome spaces available to sit down and work at. My wife has spent many a weekend at the library working on her dissertation and actually looks forward to going there because it allows her to set up and focus on what she has to do with minimal distractions. In addition to a great space to work, they also have an awesome selection of video rentals which we enjoy. I am sure that they also have a lot of good books being a library and all, but I can't speak to that so I won't.

Beautiful locationss, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff, huge collections including modern video games, short wait times for items.... the library is a treasure for the citizens of st albert.
