Spring Grove

This is my go to restaurant! The food is amazing and the price is super cheap. For $7 you get soup and salad, dinner rolls, vegetables, potatoes, your main dish, and dessert. Definitely worth the stop.

I went to this restaurant to eat breakfast on May 30th 2017. My experience was extremely negative. After looking at the menu I decided that I wanted to have their build your own breakfast with 2 scrambled eggs, 2 potato pancakes, and bacon. Also, clearly marked on the menu was an add-on for strawberries for a little additional money, I decided to get that as well to put on my pancakes. When I told the waiter what I wanted she told me that I must not know what I am talking about and said only someone crazy would eat that. It took a little pointing out in the menu and some confirmation by someone who accompanied me before she actually jotted it down and went to tell the cook. After waiting awhile my food arrived and I proceeded to put my strawberries on my potato pancakes. After a little bit of time the waiter came over to check on me and saw my strawberry covered pancakes. She looked at me strangely and told me that only someone who was impregnated would eat something like that. Yes, that's what she said. I found those words to be extremely offensive more so because I am a guy. Needless to say my experience at this restaurant was not very good and I will never be coming back to this establishment. Maybe you will fair better if you do not ask for strawberries on your pancakes.
