First time at Sporty's and it was definitely a place I'd go again. The music wasn't too loud which is typical of a bar so I loved that. My boyfriend got the spicy chicken with seasoned fries and I got the moosebreath burger with tots. I wish the burger was seasoned a bit more but otherwise it was all very delicious. The service was wonderful which always makes a visit to a new place even better.
-minus 2 stars for basically ripping me off but some of the food was good. I was at Sporty's around 5:30pm on Tuesday. I ordered BBQ meatballs and chicken strips. BBQ meatballs were supposed to be 1/2 price as advertised on their menu but I was charged full price which half on me for not checking before leaving. The chicken strips were advertised as 4 strips and they gave me 2. Again, on me for not checking before leaving. Either way I can't give them anymore credit other than the food was decent, though the meatballs were definitely delicious, but the chicken strips were just okay and even if they gave me 4 strips like they were supposed to they only gave me a half container of dipping sauce which only worked for most of 1 strip and even though the order was placed as a to-go order they didn't give any cutlery which would have been nice for the meatballs. Would not recommend if you're in a rush because chances are they may hose you as well.
We sat down and nobody came to our table it wasn't that busy either. I waited 15 minutes then asked the wife if wanted to leave or stay she decided to stay so went up to the bar and ordered after that the service was excellent. They just need to pay attention to who walks through the doors since you seat yourself.Food: 5/5
First time we came here, it was summer and the place was filled with flies. We tried again in the winter and went for breakfast. We were greeted with a 40 minute wait and witness to a server feeding drinks to a guy who couldn't even stand! Anything for tips I guess.
5 star all the way. Me and my girlfriend came to catch the superbowl last night and we had a great time. The bartenders there should school other bartenders around the country on how to do it like they do. Plus we made a couple of good friends there as well Can’t wait to go back.
Clean-ish place to eat. Bathrooms stink. Be prepared for a hit or miss with food; consistently under cooked bacon and hash browns, don't ask for anything special, it won't get cooked that way. Food is okay in general. Waitresses have an unhappy or cranky demeanor while working, some are okay, others will ignore you depending on where you sit.....even if it's not busy. Any feedback given is never received well.
Once the food was delivered we didn't see the waitress again and it was fairly empty, they weren't busy at all. So as long as you like your food and don't need a drink refill, sauce, new fork or anything and don't mind getting up to go to the counter to pay it will be fine. Food: 5/5
Good food at a fair price, plenty of TVs playing sports and a lot of mounted memorabilia for a good atmosphere. Service can be slow, especially during peak hours.Food: 4/5
We love going to Sportys Steakhouse. Great food and atmosphere. I had the Tangy Burger, which was good. Just wanted a bit more seasoning on the burger. GF had a dip burger, sorry forgot name. She really enjoyed her dinner. Tator tots and onion rings were yummy.
Don't judge a book by its cover... this place has plenty of spunk, providing a lively atmosphere of a true sports bar. Without question the locals favorite. The bar is well stocked with liqueurs and has a great selection of beer. The menu consist of a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The food is reasonably priced, generous portions and deliciously prepared. I enjoyed the food presentation, the friendliness of the servers and the home town character.
