Amazing experience! Went on Monday, Feb 2 evening with my daughter to get new Volleyball shoes. We had a specific shoe in mind that only this location had. We were approached immediately at the shoe section by a young man and we showed him what we were looking for. He was friendly and eager to help out. Before going to get her size, he recommended another one we could try. While waiting, another young man came and discussed Volleyball with us. He was very friendly and polite, and as a Volleyball player himself, knew what he was talking about. He gave another recommendation for a volleyball shoe, and it was the same one the previous employee recommended. There were 3 or 4 people in total on staff, and all were very engaged and attentive to the customers that were there and there were quite a few. When we went to the checkout, another young man helped us out there - he asked my daughter if she played volleyball and engaged us in some conversation, while very quickly processing our purchase. Once again, super friendly and engaging. It genuinely seemed that guys all liked their jobs, and took it seriously. Great hiring Sport Chek Market Mall!!
Eli was a total 15/10 working with my whacky mom and I while he was manning footwear. He helped us find the perfect shoes for her, tailored to her needs, and wasn’t phased at all when she needed to try on approximately 500 pairs of shoes to do so. He was very knowledgeable about his products.nnGet this guy a raise, plus a little bit ; Shoe shopping sucks and he made it great even while understaffed.nnPS: my mom is often of the opinion that “some of this younger generation doesn’t understand good customer service” and she did NOT feel that way today.
We love the Market Mall Sport Chek! The staff is always super helpful, and we’ve never had any issues with returns or purchases. The store is huge, with tons of selection from gear to clothes to shoes. Stock is usually reflective of what you see online, and even if something isn’t on the floor, it’s often just in the back. We always have success finding what we need. It’s become our go-to location, even though it’s not the closest one to us. Definitely worth the trip every time!
Had a great customer experience buying skates for my son. Nick store manager helped us and was absolutely fantastic. Was so helpful and attentive - really cared, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure we were fully satisfied with our purchase. Would highly recommend this store.
