Lots to do, best outdoor entertainment on the rock. Lots of upgrades over the years. Huge water slide, 4D movies, go kart, bumper boats, kids play area, pool, mini golf and more, plus Mary browns right there, what could be better!
I love this place due to my fond memories of it. It has its quirks but generally it's a positive experience. The water area is great fun but unheated. The fixtures I would put on the same level as a off Disney resort in Florida. My last trip left me with a sour experience. How does it get all my family on to one ride of the go-karts we had to wait for several smaller families to go ahead of us. The go-karts are almost a tradition for our family. We decided to go use the bumper cars to give the other smaller families a chance to use it and come back. Unfortunately in this time they shut down the go-kart track due to the track being wet. This was something that was out of our control and if we hadn't been polite to the other guests probably wouldn't have affected us. I figured since it had started raining that maybe the management team would allow us to use our last remaining rids on our bracelets an other day. I was informed that his policy that they don't allow that. Left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I get the feeling that it happens often enough as the staff informed us that it happens a lot and "that's our policy". So if you're going to this resort understand these policies because these no leeway.
My hat is off to the owners that have kept the making of memories going for decades. It's too bad the pool isn't heated ....if I am wrong and it is, it wasn't working well. XD theater was an excellent surprise. Everything is well maintained and things were well staffed.
Fun place to spend the day with the family. Bumper boats, water slide, splash pad, swimming pool, mini golf - the new XD theatre was a great hit. But let’s not forget the go carts. A childhood and adulthood favourite! Cabins onsite too!
We got a day pass on a Monday for 4 people and if we were able to take advantage of it it would have been worth the money. The line ups were over a half an hour up to an hour for each of them and then once the evening pass people came at 4:00 it wasn't worth it to line up at all. We showed up at 11am and was supposed to get 7 rides each but only got to take advantage of 4. We planned on playing mini golf at the end of the day before we left but couldn't do that either. I don't know of any other park like this on the island so it's a great concept and I understand the high charge because it's only open 8 or 9 weeks out of the year so it is nice to be able to visit something like this when there's nothing else like it around.
Too many people, not much of a people person. They have 2 pools 1 about 1 foot deep and one about 5 feet deep. Went with my sister's two 5 year olds and they couldn't touch the bottom in the big pool comfortably. Not many attractions for the money! Don't think that we will go again. Only there for about 3 hours total
Just like I remember from my childhood. Price is a little high but definitely worth a visit.
Spent the day at splash n putt with my wife and 2 kids. I would not recommend going. The pool isn't heated at all, it was frigid the day we were there. The mini golf course is in terrible condition, almost every single hole has ripped up turf, it's very obvious that it hasn't been looked at or maintained for years. It was very expensive, terrible value for your money. It's shame because I have such good memories of going as a child.
Great place to stop when traving between St John's and central. Get your snacks, stretch your legs, and have a bathroom break.
Went last weekend for the first time for my daughters 14th birthday. Best place for a family trip on the island!!
