Fun place to bring the kids! Lots of nice amenities. The place is huge! Very clean and orderly facilities. All in all, I highly recommend this place for an afternoon at the indoor pool!
Hot tub is never open. It's not rocket science with the chemicals. The leadership and management especially the People Who oversee Splash Landings run it very poorly they should be on this every morning especially during the winter hours people count on that hot tub
I hesitated to visit this pool with my kid given some of the previous reviews that described cold water. I was pleasantly surprised! The temperature issue must have been fixed in recent years b/c both pools were very comfortable and on the slightly warm side even. The kiddie pool is not big but has fun features. Facilities feel new and clean and well-lighted.
Affordable, clean, but most importantly lots of fun. Decent sized kiddie area, with a zero depth entry area so it's very easy for little kids to get into the water. A toddler sized water slide and sprinklers provide lots of fun for the young ones, while older kids and adults can enjoy the main pool and larger water slide. I thought the larger slide was great, as about a quarter of the way down you're in pitch black darkness until you near the slide's exit. We went on a very hot Saturday, and shockingly there was no crowd, which meant plenty of room for us and the kids to swim and splash around. Admission was very reasonable, at $6 per person, while kids younger than 2 years old are free. We had a blast, and are already looking forward to going back.
The area under the small kiddie slide was so rough, you could get scraped pretty bad. We also paid extra for use of the big slide and they told us there was no attendant available nor was a refund for the extra charge. We paid for a private family swim time slot the week prior and upon arrival the attendant said that things changed and up to ten parties could be in the swimming pool. That doesn't seem like private family swim.
A very good value for an indoor waterpark in the winter. At 6$ a head you cannot beat that price. The pool is better suited for younger kids 6 and under. There isn't a lot to keep older kids entertained.

Just visited the Splash Landing activity pool with the family for the first time. 83 degree water, zero entry pool, water features, and a little slide for the youngest ones. A terrific time!
Best indoor swimming and aquatic center in north chicago. 6$ per person. Great for families. They answer phone right away. Make sure you call or see the web site for the schedule. bring your own towel, kids swim area. water slides
This place is our favorite place in winter time. Kids love it, not bad price. A lot of rooms for changing, it has also spa. All in all good place to go with kids
