My experience at Spicer Cole Fine Jewellers from start to finish was fantastic. Stephen takes great care in properly training his staff who are selling diamonds to truly know their stuff. My family has been going to Spicer Cole for their jewellery needs for many years now, so when it was time to look for a ring, I went there as well. We travelled 4hrs to meet with Stephen on a Sunday and he walked us through everything we needed to know, I was there for almost 2hrs, it was more of a learning experience than a shopping trip. At no time did I ever feel like he was trying to sell me more than I needed, he did an amazing job and showing us our options all within our budget. He will give you honest advice and will not just try and up-sell you to make more money, he truly has the customers interest in mind. He has a customer for life, I would not go anywhere else to look for an engagement ring period. If you live far, make the trip, totally worth it. Looking for the perfect engagement ring can be stressful, save your self the headache and do it right, go to Spicer Cole, you will not regret it. Thank you again Stephen for the wonderful experience.

My wonderful annual Christmas shopping trip with my daughters took a sad turn as we were going in for breakfast at our motel in Bangor, Maine. My ring finger stung as I realized the empty prongs had gouged the skin! My beautiful diamond was gone... Endlessly, I both prayed and wondered what I was going to do about this ring that meant so much to me. I looked, inquired, and priced rings at most of the jewellery stores in town. At the Regent Mall I started to walk past Spicer Cole Jewellers, which I just "knew" would be out of my budget, even though I had never been in there! I "sensed" a nudge to go in and "the rest of the story" has a fairytale ending for me. Two hours later I left the store almost in a daze of happy Thanksgiving in my heart. Mr. Stephen Cole, the owner who was incredibly busy due to the Christmas season, noticed me, listened to my long saga, spent his valuable time explaining, sorting, examining, and placing diamonds, until we eventually "found the perfect fit" to replace my diamond and wedding ring set. Consulting with his staff, my "new" ring was ready by Christmas as promised. Beautiful and polished, four new prongs on the diamond, and two new ones on the little diamond in the wedding band, taxes in...I left Spicer Cole Jewellers a very grateful 71 year old senior lady. The total price was far less than half of what I imagined it would be for my budget! The nicest part of this story is that while I waited, between customers, I noticed two beautiful diamond rings sold that would make mine look like a miniature fleck beside them! But the incredible service was the same... Thank you, Mr. Cole, and staff, I am so delightfully grateful. I love my "new" twenty nine year old diamond ring. Sincerely, Anne Jones

Brought my engagement ring in to be repaired. A claw had broken and I lost a small diamond. They fixed it within a week for a very reasonable price. All the staff were very helpful. Hard to leave without something new and shiny! Thanks for the great service. I'll be back!

Our favorite jewelry store EVER. They have the best selection of all the Ring, Diamonds, Watchers & more one could ever asked for and not to mention the excellent & very knowledgeable staff who would take their time to explain ins & outs of what you are looking for or want. We had order custom order our wedding rings & they exceeded for what we were expecting. Great job gang keep up the great work. The best Jewelry store in entire Atlantic Canada. When writing a performance or product review, it is easy to become locked into the logical mind and only offer those things which the physical senses can weigh and measure; In the case of Spicer Cole Fine Jewellers, however, I find this approach is horribly pale and incomplete - I could hardly do justice to the many years of wonderful experience. Over the years, I have come to know the Owner Stephen and General Manager Angela as my own Brother and Sister; we have had many an occasion to share our hearts with one another and it is within this relationship that we have found an intimacy of Spirit, Mind and Emotion. It is an ever growing intimacy of shared beliefs and opinions … of shared stories - memories of life’s adventures that has led us to jointly create several amazing pieces of custom jewelry. Each Custom Creation would begin with an idea, based upon a need or want on my part, which is then shared with Stephen and Angela and then very often bounced off the various other staff … who are all very talented and creative in their own right. This idea then goes through the refinement process with LOTS of input from everyone … everything from the physical construction needs to what stones will best suit the application to what carat gold would have best longevity - Even the most minuscule link and detail is examined in great detail from all foreseeable angles. Once this process is complete … we then send the “plans” to the Artisan who creates a computer image to basically capture the spirit of the piece … this image is then reviewed and refined until, finally, all are satisfied as to the Spirit of the creation as well as the Construction and potential Longevity. I have always been VERY pleased with the attention to quality and detail given to every piece … for me, you must understand, each piece has significant meaning - not “just a piece of jewellery” created to impress others … actually, I hardly ever flash the pieces - they are always close to my skin and worn under clothing in every moment.

 This rather long writing has been to not just confirm to all who may read it that Spicer Cole Fine Jewellers is an exceptional and extraordinary company to deal with but that each purchase receives the personal and devoted attention of a team of amazingly and highly talented people. Their many qualifications are easy to confirm but it is their natural talent I am trying to expose for you … of every jewellery store I have been into in the past 54 years (and there have been a great many); only three stand out above the others and I am very pleased to say that Spicer Cole stands very tall even in this rarified air. Finally, It is my great pleasure to quite honestly, and without any exaggeration, say that Spicer Cole Fine Jewellers is by far the finest jewellery store I have ever found in eight countries. I would, with no reservation at all, most highly recommend any person seeking to purchase an item off the shelf or wanting to have a custom piece crafted to take the time to walk into Spicer Cole and get to know the people there …. I most highly assure you - you will not be disappointed and will come away a happy person.
