It was an average restaurant to eat out Indian food. The food tastes good but not great which I was expecting as per the reviews. We ordered veg combo and samosa. The quantity of the combo was enough for one person and the taste was okay. The samosas were good to be honest. The service was the really great.
Went for lunch at noon on a Saturday. Easy to find as its near bridge walkway to Assiniboine Park and Sargent Sundae. Convenient parking. We had the shrimp korma and lamb masala and 2 orders of garlic naan. Dishes come with basmati rice. The naan serving was large and generous fluffy on top and crispy on the bottom and had a wonderful fluffy-chewy texture. Quite possibly the best naan in the city bar none! The shrimp korma was pure delight with enough sauce to dip your naan. The shrimp korma will not disappoint. Rounding out our second dish was the lamb masala. Generous portion for two with nice sized bites of lamb accompanied with onions, peppers and Indian spices. We asked for medium level spice and it was enough to provide a good kick and an enjoyable culinary experience. We finished off with chai tea, and I would highly recommend having the chai tea here. Had bright notes of cardamom. I would say the chai tea here is in the top 3 in all the City. Service was prompt and courteous and staff are knowledgeable about describing menu items if you have any questions. Will definitely be back. Parking: Lots of parking.
We ordered a nice 6 dish supper on our 20th anniversary! We ordered for pick up, the lady on the phone was super polite and easy to understand. Every dish I was asked how spicy I wanted it, that was nice. We ordered Lamb Vindaloo as one of our dishes. I asked for it hot, and it was super nice and hot, we loved it! Standard size portion containers, but they were packed to the brim. Palak Paneer has lots of cheese. Lots of rice. Excellent Samosas. I've had lots of Indian and this place is very tasty!
Best Indian Restaurant in the Town. Came here for first time after trying all the Indian restaurants. Seem like they know what they are doing, flavours and authenticity is well maintained. Staff is so helpful, polite, well trained and professional. Definitely coming back to try other tasty dishes on the menu. Keep up gyus
A quiet and calm Indian restaurant with good quality food. Everything was good except the tandoori chicken as the traditional tandoor taste was very minimal. Everything else is tasty. Will visit again!Food: 5/5
First time here. The goat combo is very delicious. Quiet place for dinner in ! Love it. Will definitely come back
Probably the best of the four times I've been here this past year, though definitely busier. Had the appetizer platter, big enough for four, so some came home. Chicken platter had good variety of food, including desert, and naan bread was excellent. All that and close to home too.Food: 5/5
I loved this place at my last visit in 2021 , But their quality went too low on the graph, the flavours just vanished away. Ordered an Appetiser platter today Its all raw with no seasoning and tastes yucky… I hope you work on it to make it better. Cheers!
I picked up lamb masala and garlic naan bread. The service was extremely friendly and personable. The portion was huge! And it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!
Samosa plate is one of the best I’ve had, tamarind sauce was irresistible oops, no naan leftovers now because I had to eat it all. Value is tremendous, quality is excellent. I got the lamb vindaloo as spicy and eating my leftovers I swear it got spicier is the closest I have come to tapping out from spiciness in a long time. Naan is good. Butter chicken is on the sweeter side. Food comes out pretty quick and service is good. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I’m not given less spicy food when I ask for spicy as a plain white guy. If you ask for spicy, you will be receiving spicy here.
