Amazing food in the heart of the West End! I’ve been going since they opened their doors— my go to is carry-out a dozen samosas don’t forget their tamarind sauce, crucial for dipping! and any of their platter deals. You get a great assortment of dishes and they spice it to your liking, so my extra spicy desiring heart is always satisfied.
Amazing food. Quick and fast service. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic South Indian food. I will definitely be back for more...
I ordered Chicken Biryani Platter and Veg Platter. The service is pretty good but the taste is average. Their taste is more of like Indian home cooked food. The restaurant is managed by 2-3 People only. Prices are reasonable.
We recently ordered veg biryani, chicken biryani along with chocolate shake and rofza shake. Everything was flavourful and the packaging was nice. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian biryani
Great food, very good dine in experience. Been there couple of times, owner was present. Hard working people and very respectful. Biggest pro is great food. Service is little slow but I can wait for good food. Must try
I want to say we heard amazing things. The owners and staff are so kind. We loved the feeling and interactions. They even gave us a sample of chicken soup, so nice. I really didn’t like anything, the microwave was beeping lots and it tasted reheated. Even the nan bread was no flavor and terrible texture, maybe my least favorite nan bread. The chana Marsala was old the chicken biryani was old and microwaved. The butter chicken was 3 tiny chunks of chicken. The yogurts all not delicious. Will try again another time
The lovely lady over the phone is always super nice! Great customer service plus I love their food. Its always fresh. Their chicken soup is the BEST if you want that soup cz its healthy, other restaurants add a bunch of sauces which is not healthy at all. Keep it up!!!!! Fresh food is the speciality of this restaurant!!!!
Was stopped at the adjacent lights and the $2.99 for two samosas and a drink caught my eye. Turned in and was not disappointed. For the price, you cannot beat this deal. The samosas were substantial and delicious. Spice was light, but the included sauce chutney? was sweet and spicy providing a nice balance. I opted for the chai with my samosas. Almost too sweet, haha. For the potential negatives: The samosa was mostly filled with potato, making it less exciting than other samosas. The chai was too sweet for me. Both the samosa and tea could have used a bit more kick. Waiting time was longer than expected, but maybe because the samosas were fried fresh? I wouldn't doubt it. Overall, highly recommend you stop in and try this restaurant and see for yourself!
Great restaurant and has a nice ambience. Food was great and delicious. Had the taste of Delhi. Do try laal maans, a lamb dish made in Rajasthan, India. Also do try Kathi roll, it has the true taste of Delhi. Food was not too spicy or oily except the Laal Maans. Update: Had some bad experience the 2nd time we went. The owner passed some racist comments discrimanting between North & South Indians. Food is still good but the environment is not. Won’t be going back again.
Food is really awesome. I tried Amritsari kulcha naan and Afghan chicken Tikka. Both are 10/10. Chicken biryani, I did not find fresh enough. However, still it was good. I will definitely visit this place again.
