Such a great activity. Gets really busy during the weekend but the vibes and energy are so good. Staff are friendly and welcoming.nnTip: if you go on the less busy days they can let you drive the cars on pro speed - hehe you’re welcome :
The lights and sound system are very nice. You watch the rules on TV before doing the go kart. The race times are 10 minutes. The tracks are 3 stories up. However, it is a pity that there is no screen to watch the racers. I cannot see what is happening during the race. The toilets are clean. There is food and drink. Buy your ticket in advance. We wanted to buy tickets for the game consoles but they were sold out.
honestly this place is super fun with friends and family! i highly recommend going for two round for kart racing. i say mini golf is fine when its less people so you can have the stuff. i would recommend to everyone to come here. the staffs are wonderful!
Came from Nanaimo after hearing about this place on social media. We were so excited. Came in around 9 pm on a Friday and we were booked for 1010pm. We raced around 1030pm. Not bad for a weekend and expected for sure.nnHowever, it was our first time here and there was definitely a missed opportunity for more instruction. We paid and walked in but were on our own essentially after that except for the short safety video. We were left watching others around us so that we could figure out the next steps.nnThe most negative things from our experience were the state of the washrooms. Multiple stalls out of order, no toilet paper in some, the floors soaked with liquid that smelled possibly like urine but could have just been water… who knows. It was nasty and very bad.nnWe sat in the restaurant for a pop before our race to waste some time. The pop was definitely low on syrup and tasted very watered down.nnAnother downfall was the available seating in the waiting area. There is definitely room for improvement here also. We had to stand for nearly the entire hour while we waited for our race.nnOur first race started late, but not a big deal. The race went as expected to learn how to handle the car and everything.nnOur second race was immediately after, but in this race the speeds were reduced almost the entire time which was quite disappointing.nnThat being said, we still want to give it all another go sometime when we return to the mainland. We just hope that the washrooms are in better condition and the waiting area is improved as well with more seating. An instruction board on the wall with what the expect while you are waiting would be wonderful as well. This place is really cool! And with a few improvements and more organization it could be even better.
I had an amazing time at Speeders Richmond racing with my family today! The experience was incredibly fun from start to finish. The track was very well-designed and beautifully lit with colorful LEDs, adding an extra layer of excitement to the race.nnThe staff were professional, polite, and clearly knew what they were doing, which made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. They ensured safety while keeping the energy high.nnFor first-timers, I recommend paying attention to the Scores screen, as it displays the names and photos of who’s up next. Make sure you're ready with your mask and helmet when your name pops up to avoid any delays. Also, don’t skip the safety video—it’s helpful and ensures everyone stays safe on the track.nnOverall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more races in the future!
